The life is cruel sometimes, as he acquired overrated ugly coaching master Pardew that I don't like nor value. After Savas Pantelidis, the most annoying one, at least to me. You have confidence, you had a victory over Oly, and you bench Gray suddently and you start Peersman on CD. WTF I have just witnessed tonight?? Overconfident to win Volos regardless of the 2nd stopper or stupid, there is no third option?!
  2. 2:1 etsiiii re, Mancinara Da fight-ara, and Palma. Kill the Gavrakia!
  3. 0:1, almost 70' crap display actually so far.
  4. If I am not mistaken, Aboubakar Kamara should be a past from Olympiakos.
  5. I watched the game. I don't know what to say. They didn't deserve to lose, scoreless, but we needed this win. Cuesta is such an octopus.
  6. This off-step penalty taking deserves a paycut off the wage. Can not believe this stupid trend in Europe and globally is still alive and players consume it. We should have been in front. We are better in the second
  7. 0:0 HT Big nothing from us. Factor 'power of Kamara' is missing, that won us matches against Aek and Paok last season. Still a half to go. Pameeee
  8. Burgos' darling Iturbe on the bench finally. Mateo Garcia this time on. Palma benched, Manu Garcia on, more offensively on centre mid. I think Doukoure and Diop on DCM. Mazikou in on LWB for soft Peersman.

Ps. When analysing the problems, let me add also a LB to RB problems. So far, Peersman soft. To conclude with this LB point addition, defensive wingers and central midfield haven't been replaced properly, or at least they don't perform so far. Central defense, out of form for a bit. That's what bothers us and Aris currently and where problems occur.

Certain things from our past matches explained and answered your question. While Sundgren was one of the best in qualifiers for his Israeli team, beating both Olympiakos and Red Star, and if I am not mistaken, will be playing in Champs league, we currently have RBs who, according to Karipidis, who are better or what? Mbakata defensively, Odumbajo?? The other big issue is, while we thought we had completed solid CM, this Dabo with easy going and cool Cheick Doukoure, when starters, are absolutely unacceptable if this keeps like this. They are not better than Sasha-Matilla, let alone something else. RB, CM major problems for me so far this season, with Fabiano slightly and especially clumsy Brabec dropping performances made us pay. AM, wingers upront, Grey, Luis Palma in form, Mancini fighting as always, should be good and quality for the rest of the league minus Olympiakos. This little Manu Garcia and his finesse, when gelled even more in the team, will be a great asset. His moves and passing mmmm... I liked.
  11. A week from the loss, and still I am badly surprised Burgos is not with us any more. I liked the work. Yes, bad away games this season, but why these many roster changes? He/they need certain time, por Dios.
  12. I am a spoiled child from the last year. I expect a victory, really. We are not at the best time, but they don't look sharp either for months now.
  13. In almost all of our away matches in Europe past 4 years, we looked slower than our opponents in most parts of each match, more error prone, unprepared, conceding easy. I agree, the new additions also have needed time to gel and while they make bad decisions on the pitch, the opposition punishes. But to always lose like 2:0, 3:0 away and expecting us to improve the situation and be intensive for 90 or 120 mins at home to level the goal difference, is too much for the boys, and we have been always eliminated. Will be tough extremely in the home one. Looks like Doukoure and Dabo are to much orientated to attack to be decent D/CM and intercept something. Dabo disappointed me with a lack of fight Sasha had. I think with Sundgren leaving, we lost stability back there, although there is an attacking flair. Opposition usually exploits our right side of defense. Ivić killed us with good tactics of sending any sort of pass from central mid to their attackers in the space between Fabiano and Brabec and that is their weakest point of partnership, because they looked like amateurs in 3, 4 situations. In 95% I have agreed with Burgos' selections, but this time to bench Camacho and Palma at the same time, where one of the places Mateo Garcia took from the start, was a mistake.
  14. We are lucky not to be 3:0 down, even 4. Hard, clumsy legs of our defenders and central mid. All started from there
  15. 0:0 in first 25' away from home. Israeli are all over us so far. Ivić their coach read us well, at least for now
  16. I come once a year, and this time just came to praise the Bulgarian efforts, for the sake of good neighborhood in our dear peninsula. Can't wait also to keep beating you in 2023 as well

I was correct for Hajro', unfortunately. Hope we don't do wrong with Gervinho though, as he smells in a 'touristic' mood as well when I saw his arrival, pics, etc.
  18. As a fan originated from Bosnia, I care less for Greek co-es. But I understand you of course, and nothing personal, as I do also understand that with higher co-es, even Aris European opening matches can be lesser and later in a season start, but still I enjoyed when Oly flopped and so did Paok tonight. I feel full tonight. Sure, Bosnian club being eliminated by a Maltese club, and same that Velež eliminated Aek last season for example, makes me think deep, but...but truth be told - Balkanian people hardly change, we are slow in the start, unprepared, always easy going, late and lazy at something we do, while teams from Malta, Faroe isl., Israel, Kazahstan want to compete, set up perfectly the start of their seasons, are hungry, etc., and competitive very much to most of clubs on Balkans these days.
  19. Hi Mitsara. Thanks. You too. Considering unprepared Oly and Paok, we are good so far. Also looking at transfers of Aek, we should be good this year, too. I agree, time will tell only. You know that I am a big critic when they deserve to be criticized. In last night's match I only didn't like finishing and 6 yellows when we were a 100:0 score up all the time. But when you see what Vieirinha and his mate have done this night, our Diop was even smart. In 2022 all over, the team is well coached, with this Kary the fox managing this. Hope Marinakis doesn't pressure us to steal Burgos from us. Only the minus is still good relation with Olympiakos, but when you look where we were several years ago, and where we are now, I really don't have the right to say anything evil nor to be ungrateful.
  20. Before the post of yours from above, last time someone had posted was in January the 1st. Ever since then, Aris actually lifted up the game and was more less very good in playoffs, playing cat-mouse with Aek and Paok whole last season. On the topic, good display, some good additions to the team, I hope we just don't overplay with transfers, however strange it might sound.
  21. Iturbe, ex Rome and Porto talent is in serious talks with Aris. Pretty much nowhere late years. I think that chances are for him to revive his career less than 50% in Thessaloniki. Mitroglou tries, not successful, Hajrović tries, let's see.... Iturbe hmmm?! Mateo Garcia is also a kind of a revive-trying footballer in past 2 years and so, although the age is on his side compared to others above. I am not actually a big fan of hiring several reviving players on so sensitive positions of 21st century for Aris like striker positions are, knowing the fact of course that Iturbe is a winger. We have had much trouble of finding strikers that would score continiously in modern history and that's why we could hardly touch P(A)OK, amongst other financial problems plus lack of managerial ability such as Skordas that lasted several years in 2 spells, for example.
  22. Yes, very much. Crap away playing with 0:5 goal difference, plus home loss and an unexpected European modern cups' without-loss home run record break last year to Ukrainian team with strange name that even myself had hardly heard of whole my life.

A downhill career, my friend. Good start, somewhat promising, with bad developing of the career. A materialistic wife beside him, Instagram darlings both, focus less and less on football. Not a slow player of course, can overlap, finish when he is in form, but... can play as a ST, or even strike from the flanks. Though, I don't like that Aris is becoming a rehab house for downhill-to-washed up strikers from Balkans (Mitroglou, Hajrović, cough cough).
  24. 2:0, a loss. Ordinary, let me not say a bad, coach for ordinary/bad results, of course. Is it my 7th, 8th post mentioning how Matilla-Sasha can't connect nor produce together. Boring me. And again, with virtual No. 9 you start and you have 3 strikers on the bench, 2 + Hajrović who can also be a ST. Just, will be curious to see, after bad more-less playoffs and potential exclusion from Conf League, whether this coach will be sacked. No double standards, please, Hoenning got sacked after Ukraine fiasco, ridiculed for his higher socks in the sandals, etc, subs, approaches. Yes, justified it was, but this coach's destiny decision would be justified as well if he doesn't pass Astana. Let's see.
  25. Good luck, really. Paok lifted their game when needed the most lately, to take over our 2nd position. They look slightly more compact, but overall, in terms of quality, we have more talented team. If we didn't have this Mourinho type of coaching in Tottenham that we see under Mantzio, we would finish many points over our neighbours.
