  1. Sakkari loser number 2! Lost to the Chinese. Both Tsitsipas and Sakkari need some psychological help in order to help them with their loser mentality.

  2. It will be great if Aris continues last year's dominance over PAOK (4 games played - 3 wins - 1 draw - zero goals conceded) but it will be very difficult under the current circumstances. The most logical result will be a draw, but nothing will surprise me.

  3. Good win. Croatia has had Greece’a number for several years. If PapaG can come back healthy and Sloukas plays to form then Greece are in good shape.

  9. And scored his first Eredivisie-goal. Took the VAR three minutes to validate the goal but finally the celebration could be done again.

  11. Tsitsipas has had a good year, I believe he is right up there in wins this year. He just hasn't been able to play well in the slams.

  12. So Tsitsipas is out but Maria Sakkari advanced to R2. She won 6-4, 3-6 and 6-0. Next opponent Wang Xi Yu from China.

  13. Awful result, he picked up only one game in the opening 2 sets losing 0-6, 1-6. He would eventual lose the match in 4 sets. He hasn't had a great year but his best is still very good, last week he beat Medvedev on route to a Masters final. His biggest issue is clearly mental and until he can get that sorted he will be prone to these type of results and his inconsistency will always hold him back from competing for slams.

  18. Gusin finished 9th place at 1.86 Pesiridou did not advance into the finals, finishing 6th place in the semifinals heat at 13.19 As we conclude the European Athletics Championship, Greece ends up with 5 medals (4 gold 1 silver) Not bad I must say, aside from Tentoglou's gold and Stefanidi's silver, Drisbioti's double gold medal and Tzengko's impressive gold at age 19 were the highlights of this tournament.
