I don't disagree about his playing abilities (or disabilities). I don't even disagree about him having a life outside of the game. However, he is the team captain, and he should at least lay low when the team is having a bad run. It's not the first time he has gone partying after a bad result. I don't care if he goes out after a game, but refrain from being included in the celebrity pictures that will make the rounds on the internet. Keep that stuff private. Also, since his new contract, he has not performed up to his previous levels. He has not shown any improvement in his play, clearly showing his concentration on other things. We should have sold him when we had the chance. I think now it's too late.

At the end of the day this is not a great way to build confidence going into our most important game. Kolasinac is a good player and if ever he doesn`t start, that would be an important absence for Bosnia, but Manolas is one of the best CBs in the world and his absence puts us at a huge disadvantage. Yes, we have a very good player in Kyriakos Papadopoulos taking his place, but the latter would have been playing DM if Manolas was there and now leaves a hole in the midfield.

We have an abundance of borderline NT-calibre players on this roster. Where are some supersubs like Ninis and Fetfa? I hope they surprise us with a win or draw on Sunday, but I just can`t see success being sustainiable with all these marginal, out of form, sometimes club-less, players filling key roles in this lineup. In his meeting with Otto, I am certain that the thing Skibbe took away was to stick with a core of experienced, reliable players and avoid shaking the roster up too much like Ranieri and co. did last term.

really knit picking there blackhawk. Klaus is not and has not been starting XI material for years, maybe his whole career. With the huge turnover in players we see every season, he is one of the few that have survived. He is now the captain and club's poster boy, making it near impossible to drop him/sell him. They have sort of backed themselves into a corner regarding Klaus. I've said for years now if we are serious he should at best be a sub, a depth player and even then its debatable. He can score, he's a poacher but its been proven time and time again over his career, in big games against top defences (especially in Europe) he goes missing. I can assure you a couple of hours after the game all the boys where laughing and joking with each other again, the difference is there are no photos of those guys floating around on social media.

I don't see this as a valid reason to stop the league. If that's the case, I can just find out the address of every referee in the league, and once a season, pick one at random, bomb it and have the league suspended. I wonder what the life insurance premiums are for a referee in Greece ? EPO should be concentrating on what can be practically done. Security in the grounds, cameras, proper prosecution of offenders. Insisting on life bans. These are things that can be implemented relatively quickly, cheaply and will make a world of difference.
