You're probably right about Shakhov. I think Campos's problem is more mental. If he can over come that I think he will help.2 points

I really like the broadcasts without the announcers.2 points

Lots of good ideas. I would personally go with this for Bosnia and Belgium. Karnezis Toro Manolas Sokratis Stafylidis Samaris Maniatis Mantalos Fortounis Karelis Mitrolgou Similar to Rockafeller's 11 and same concept with no wingers. Belgium has some very mobile players like Naingollan, Mertens and of course DeBruyne. Hazard likes cutting in too so we need to crowd the middle. Maniatis might be a better answer than Tachtsidis for the Belgium match because of his mobility. I put Karelis in because Belgium's weakness with Wales was being unable to handle strikers in the box. Might as well have 2 up front and see if they can deal with it.1 point

Anyway, good to see some squad players get some game time. Solid performance overall. Over and out from Austria.1 point

one thing about Ivic's rotation so far ... Pelkas has gotten no love whatsoever, and frankly, he had a very good camp and showed some things early in the year when he got time ... dude is young and needs to play or we've wasted another year of development. I mean, loan him out to Veria in January if he's not going to get minutes.1 point

In fact, Campos would also look much better with Biseswar or Pelkas constantly getting time there.1 point

I can handle Shakhov playing if he's in a logical position...but he needs someone like Biseswar or Pelkas in there too.1 point

Shakhov is injured, and hopefully won't be ready by Sunday.1 point

Hey, who came in for Canas again?1 point

Pereyra and Mystakidis are both gunning for Campos' job.1 point

I think Pereyra likes the freedom of being just behind the CB's. He can play as the lone striker, but yeah, I think he does better in any of the AM positions.1 point
-
Well yeah, sure, I agree. And Biseswar isn't exactly out of the first team either. I just think adding Shakhov in (instead of him) is a bad move, when he clearly is more of a Charisis-type player. We've constantly looked better with Biseswar in his correct position. Pereyra showed during his first season with us that he can play in any of those four positions. Frankly I think he looks even better as a winger.1 point

Wasn't that whole thing just ridiculous lol.1 point

whoa! AEL goalie almost flubbed one there .. Damn, that's a real missed opportunity at watching Kougias slap another player1 point

The interesting thing is that Pereyra is playing in the RW position. Take note Campos.1 point

Crowd's unhappy that the ref isn't stopping play, but what's the point of stopping the play when all these guys do is pass directly to us anyway?1 point

God I'm so in love with him. Too bad he has just passed away.1 point

You can literally fit a running track around the stadium and he is clearly concerned that his massive lens won't be able to view the goal from any farther than 6 meters...1 point

Love that red truck in the background. Looks like it was built in 1954.1 point

In the end it comes down to personal preference, with pros and cons. I prefer the 32-team and 16-team formats purely because top 2 teams get through. It's a simple, unbiased process. The positive with more teams, is even if you lose your opening 2 matches you still have a chance of qualifying to the knock out. Great for fans. The negative is, and I can see it happening, is that you end up with two teams in different Groups with the same points, same goal difference, same goals for and against, and then its a coin toss to see who makes it. E.g. in Euro 2016, when Turkey lost to Croatia 1-0 and Spain 3-0, then beat Czech 2-0 in their last game they had a good chance of making it. As it turned out, they missed out to NI who also lost 2 matches but had a better goal difference. If Germany beats NI 3-0 in their last Group match, then both Turkey and NI end up with identical points and goals for and against.1 point

Could it be as simple as Soros supports anyone that is anti-Russia and his fixation on the "stabilization" of Europe is that he considers Europe as a bulwark against Russia ? Just speculating.1 point

I know the Olympics is over, but I want to post some videos of the highlights from our Greek athletes who got their medals. Spyridon Gianniotis1 point

skibbe also hasn't started holebas. starts clubless tziolis and maniatis. doesn't include ninis and fetfa in the squad. decisions that a lot of us wouldn't have made either. as long as he gets us results he can do whatever he wants but i think these decisions will catch up to us when we're playing more formidable foes.1 point

Whatever.... I'm still trying to figure out if Soros, an American-Hungarian Jew, is for or against Israel. And, is he for or against national states, and for/against the EU.... You guys are all over the place. Soros is just one player among many. What's next, that he'll decide the next US election? :1eye:1 point
-
Soros is Jewish... B) Just to remind you that the earth isn't flat.... and there are complexities if you care to look.... Are you joking that the violence around Trump is due to the Soros-MoveOn radicalism? And, thank you for the laugh about the militarized police dpts all over the US will be powerless to act upon several ISIS strikes..... It must be the Obama socialist/communist cabal that is weakening the police everywhere so the feds will come in and establish a dictatorship. That's why they're taking guns from people and are destroying the 2nd Amendment. :1eye:1 point
