The draw for the European section qualification process for the 2006 World Cup will take place on December 5, 2003 in Frankfurt at 17:05 CET.

Out of the 52 members, 51 are entered for the quaification process. The host Germany qualify automatically.

The 51 teams will be drawn into 8 groups (3 groups of 7 teams, and 5 groups of 6 teams). England, France, Italy and Spain will be drawn into 6-team groups, since club teams from those countries are involved in more international competitions.

Not a bad group. We finally meet Turkey for an official competition, and get to re-visit Ukraine. Also we meet kazakhstan for the first time ever and travel to neighboring Albania. Finally we can settle an old score with Denmark.

I wanted Turkey and got them, but i would have rather got someone than Albania(they always raise themselves against Greece and have caused great damage in the past) and maybe Georgia. I think the Danes are really strong +we have a terrible tradition against them.

Anyway, could have been worse. The is no definate team that will take 1st place in our group..
