Ziaka
On Thursday, September 16, PAOK hosts Dutch team AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the 1st Round of the UEFA Cup. The game takes place at Toumba Stadium. Following the CL disaster, this would be a good chance for the team to redeem itself and qualify to the groupstage of the UEFA Cup. However I think it will be very difficult for us to eliminate Alkmaar. The Dutch team has allready played 4 rounds of domestic league and is most likely in better condition. I hate to make a prediction, because this game could go either way. I will be satisfied with any victory by PAOK, even if it is by a one goal difference. Ziaka
Just to show how difficult the game with Alkmaar will be. Alkmaar in a league game today defeted DeBos 5-0!!!
Batigol
Well, I'd have to agree with you Ziaka. PAOK is definately at a disadvantage with these upcoming games. We can only hope that they come out of it...at the least this first game...with a win. With the other team already garnering confidence and conditioning through the first 5 rounds of the Dutch League, they aren't opponents who can be taken lightly. FORZA PAOK!
