paxiotis7 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 As much as I was beliving the article, the end really made me think? I kind of belive her if she infcat did have a lot of dope tests and didn't fail any. We all know how crooked the olympics have become.
Blackhawk Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Nikolaos Skarvelis breaks the Greek indoor record in shot put with a throw of 20.38 meters during a meet in Iowa.
Antaeus7 Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Kostas Douvalidis broke his own Greek National Record in the men's 60 meter hurdles with a time of 7.59 in Metz, France.
Blackhawk Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Also Antigoni Drisbioti broke the Green National indoor record for 3,000 meter walk with 12:27.18
Blackhawk Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Big national record for Nikos Skarvellis in shot put. During a meet in Arizona he broke the record with a throw of 21.05 meters, making him the first Greek shot putter to break the 21 meter barrier. 2
Antaeus7 Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 He is incredible, glad I got the chance to chat with him and his sister Stamatia of their achievements. Soon, I think his sister will break the Greek national record women's hammer throw. I didn't want to mention this to Stamatia so it doesn't put pressure on her.
Antaeus7 Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Emmanuel Karalis broke Kostas Filippidis Greek National Indoor Record this past Saturday at the Peace and Friendship stadium in Piraeus. 5.86 and has his sights set for a medal at the 2023 European Indoor Championships (Istanbul).
Blackhawk Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 The 39-year old Drisbioti also broke the national indoor record in 3,000 meter walk with 12:18.26
Antaeus7 Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Only 20 years old, Dimitris Pavlidis broke the Greek National Record in men's discus throw at 64.90, breaking Savvas Panavoglou's 21 year old record of 63.18. 1
Blackhawk Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Emmanouil Karalis jumps 6.00 m and breaks his own Greek record in pole vault. 1
Antaeus7 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 That was incredible! He will soon go beyond 6 meters, potentially win more medals. Unfortunately, if Duplantis competes, he stands no chance of winning gold unless he decides to sit out like the upcoming indoor competitions.
Antaeus7 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) Karalis broke his own indoor NR at 5.90 Edited February 3 by Antaeus7 1
Blackhawk Posted February 9 Posted February 9 5.92 meters for Karalis. New Greek Indoor Pole Vault record.
Antaeus7 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Good news is that Armand Duplantis will not take part in the European Athletics Indoor Championship which means Emmanouil Karalis has a great shot for a gold medal.
Blackhawk Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Karalis is doing a Duplantis. Raising the NR by couple centimeters every time he competes. Today he broke the NR with a jump of 5.94 m in Berlin. He attempted 6.02 m, but did not make it.
Antaeus7 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Karalis said in his interview that if the crowds at Peace and Friendship stadium is packed full, he believes he will go over 6 meters.
Dutch Eagle Posted February 23 Posted February 23 On 2/21/2025 at 10:46 PM, Antaeus7 said: Karalis said in his interview that if the crowds at Peace and Friendship stadium is packed full, he believes he will go over 6 meters. And he did it with a new Greek record: 6.01!!!
Antaeus7 Posted February 23 Posted February 23 There will never be another male Greek athlete to surpass 6 meters in pole vault. Karalis is a once in a generation athlete like Tentoglou.
Blackhawk Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Yet another national record for Karalis: 6.02 meters At the same meet Duplantis breaks world record 6.27 meters 1
