Dutch Eagle Posted March 2 Posted March 2 The berths for Greece (with the starting round without rebalancing) are: CH= (CL-PO) N2= (CL-Q2nc) CW= (EL-PO) N3= (EL-Q2) N4= (CO-Q2) As we are assured of competing in the Championship play-offs we will play in Europe for sure. If we do not implode and Pana does not ressurect entirely (Levadiakos seems groggy) EL is the minimum we are starting. Draw for all Q2's are June 17th, 2026. Draw for all Q3's are July 20th, 2026. Draw for all PO's are August 3rd, 2026.
PaokCT Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Man what an opportunity this is for us to finally get into the Champions League. Hopefully after Wednesday we are tied for 1st and hold it. Starting off in the PO with only 1 matchup to go to group stages. Haven't had a good of a chance since our matchup with Krasnodar (which I am still gutted by) 1
pash Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I will never forget (or forgive) Tudor saying we probably can't beat them because "look at their market value" on transfermarkt.
Dutch Eagle Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 Pana - AEK ended in 0-0. Therefore we play EL or CL qualifiers. As it is at this moment we could draw the likes of Celtic, LASK Linz or Górnik Zabrze (as we are seeded in CL Q2) and Benfica, Olympique Lyonnais, Bodø/Glimt and Fenerbahçe (as we are unseeded in CL Q3). In EL we would be seeded all the way. Possible opponents at this moment in Q2: Partizan, Sheriff Tiraspol, Dynamo Kyiv, Zrinjski Mostar, Trabzonspor, Hajduk Split, Tromsø, Sankt Gallen and Hammarby). Might change depending on position: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/19wPpbWplHvlTEjUAtAW-8I3KfnkCJsxGYkhMIgyPAu8/htmlview
pash Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Somehow, we have managed to fall ass backwards into avoiding the Conference League (or worse). Let's see if our boys can get three out of three now.
kolokotronis99tripoli Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago What a disappointing season. It hurts more so because of some of the big wins we scored against the likes of Lille. That was probably one of our greatest wins in club history in terms of opposition level and excitement. Reminds me of that win again I think it was Fiorentina ? At the last second to get out of the Europa league group stage. Regardless, we left trophies-less. Even worse than that in my opinion was the bad performances against some of the easier teams in the Europa table. We could have very well gotten a top 8 placing and skipped a round. It is time for a new coach. New voice needed. Yes we had injuries at important times, but if there ever was a time to spend it’s now. We as PAOK fans have been spoiled the last decade IMO in terms of trophies and European challenges so a bad year is understandable but not acceptable. I still believe that the Conference league is the single greatest thing to happen to Greek soccer in the 21st century. We are able to watch our teams go deeper in European play but also more importantly, gain ground on other leagues and build coefficient spots. Unfortunately under the previous 2 tournament format, I don’t think either us or Oly would have been able to do enough damage to pull the league back up to 2 champions league spots: bottom line is this. The future of PAOK and the Super league is arguably in the best position it has been since the early 2000s, provided we spend this summer, I am very optimistic for next year. PAME PAOKARA
