italosPAOK4 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 we need a good lifting this summer many players that are old will be gone
pash Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I hope so, but I fear that most of them will be back on multi-year contracts!

Blackhawk Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 We signed a 19-year old Nigerian left-back Saleh Harouna to a 1.5 year contract from the Lagos Unique Football Academy.
pash Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Hah I was just going to complain that our friend PaokCT broke this news but apparently the twitter embedding broke even going back last month. Disappointing. Musk hates the open internet! 1
Blackhawk Posted March 12 Author Posted March 12 Apparently Feyenoord is after Kotarski. Let's see what kind of offer we will receive from them.
pash Posted March 13 Posted March 13 They don't exactly have a history of massive buys, and they have multiple good goalies that are under contract through at least 2026...unless one of them is about to be sold, I find this questionable. One of those goalies is hurt through the end of the season, but I don't think that implies he won't be ready for preseason.
pash Posted March 13 Posted March 13 (edited) I swear to GOD, a 50% pay cut still won't make him worth signing. Just imagine we used some of that 29 million we earned last summer on a complimentary 25 year old that can play up front with Chalov. 4-4-1-1 - style. -edit- not sure why that link didn't stay saved https://inpaok.com/857059/o-samata-thelei-alla-o-paok-den-viazetai/ Edited March 13 by pash
Blackhawk Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 Apparently we signed Gugesasvili for 3 years and we paid Panserraikos 1 mil to get him. What a waste of money if it's true. 2
PaokCT Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I swear I can run this team better. I have won 5 straight titles and have the team valued at 110 million on Football Manager! With a transfer budget of 30 million and a youth academy ranked top 50 in the world
pash Posted March 16 Posted March 16 A few more youths got new contracts, this time for our U17 squad. https://www.transfermarkt.com/evagjelos-gjoka/profil/spieler/1163035 https://www.transfermarkt.com/konstantinos-souvlatzis/profil/spieler/1329906 https://www.transfermarkt.com/georgios-krommydas/profil/spieler/1104554
pash Posted March 17 Posted March 17 This might be the first time I've heard one of our fan sites actually start to care about the fundamental problems. The question is, will Lucescu play ball? If he quits over a change of direction, better it happen immediately after the season ends. https://inpaok.com/857434/i-ora-ton-apofaseon-gia-ton-ivan-savvidi/ I still think we might grab third spot, because Panathinaikos looks just as bad as we do. But it would require a Herculean effort to move up to second place.
pash Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Here's the first signing. I don't....understand how he can sign before the season is over? Is there some exception made for a contract that begins with the end of the current season? Also, I didn't think we could negotiate with players outside of a transfer window. https://inpaok.com/857546/episimo-ston-paok-o-gkougkesasvili/
PaokCT Posted March 18 Posted March 18 If a players contract is running down, the last 6 months of the deal, any club can access them. So basically a player can sign a contract with a team if they are 100% moving on and it is within 6 months of their current deal ending
pash Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Thanks babe, this is the most useful I've ever found you to be! 2

pash Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Feels like more announcements than in most years, right? Anyway, three more contract extensions announced today, I think all through 2028: U17 striker: https://www.transfermarkt.com/nikolaos-chaldezos/profil/spieler/1326863 U19 GK: GK (not sure which team he's in, prob U17): https://www.paokfc.gr/en/profiles/eleftherios-manasidis/
pash Posted March 24 Posted March 24 This isn't really a transfer, but it would be hugely wasteful to make a "pending free agents" post. So here we go: https://inpaok.com/858049/anoichti-i-epistrofi-tou-taison-stin-internasional/ I remember reading when we first got him that it was his intention to retire with his boyhood club. Their new league season starts this Saturday, so will be in full swing by the time he's available (especially assuming he takes a few weeks off to rest and recover).
Dutch Eagle Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Khor Fakkan offered 1.2 mil to buy Tissoudali. Wrap it up, guys. But we are tsigounides and would like to squeeze some 0.6 mil more out of this lemon. 1
pash Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Forza saying Genoa wants Kotarski for "3.6mm + bonuses" that could reach 5mm. With him also being on the radar of Fiorentina. 5 million is too little for him IMO. I think we can extract more for him. As for Tissoudali...what can I say? If he doesn't want to be here, or the coach doesn't want to use him, we should move on. We'd save more on salary than we would eat in a loss on the sale. Also, it would still be less of a loss than that kid we "bought" from Xanthi a few years ago, who immediately decided to retire and go to like, forestry school or something (ha ha).
paokarag4 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 The issue with Kotarski is next season he is entering the final year of his contract. That takes some negotiating power out of our hands. I think ultimately he will be sold for 6-10 million, his form slump this season probably has also impacted his potential price. I am more interested in who will become the no.1 next season. Will Pavlenka be renewed and given first go (as has been mentioned in media), did they sign Gugeshashvili with the intention of him being the no.1 and signing a new 2nd keeper? Or is Pavlenka also on his way out and Gugeshashvili is the no.2 and we are looking to spend $(haha) on a good level goalkeeper.
pash Posted March 26 Posted March 26 We have a half dozen GREEK keepers, why wouldn't Tsiftsis be good enough to be #2? Wouldn't shock me if Pavlenka comes back, though. Good points on Kotarski's value. Now I think we'll sell him for 3mm. In Austrian dollaroos, I think that's about equivalent to 34 kangaroos and a bactrian camel.
pash Posted March 27 Posted March 27 So they offered 20 million, Savvidis said no, now they're anticipated to offer only 17 to start? https://inpaok.com/858363/i-benfika-tha-epanelthei-gia-konstantelia/ Tbh they probably have a few god players they can throw in as part of a swap + 17mm, just saying
pash Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Apparently Ozdoyev had a renewal clause in his contract for next year, which he has already met the conditions of. If we have him for next year, then I really don't think we should move to re-sign Schwab again. We are in grave danger of repeating the same mistake we do every year. Apparently Samatta had a similar clause but obviously will not automatically trigger it. Unfortunately I am growing increasingly certain that the team will offer him a new contract regardless.
Blackhawk Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 Rumors are that we are talking with Chatzistravos from Panserraikos. Player that we got rid of 2 years ago. Don't know WTF they are thinking at PAE PAOK.
