  • Blackhawk changed the title to SL1-R26: NFC Volos - PAOK (12.03.23, 19:00 EET)

The government and police announced that they will not allow organized travel of PAOK fans to Volos. Something they did not do for the other teams (PAO, AEK, Olympiakos). Any fans travelling to Volos will have to do it on their own and at their own risk.

Oliveira, Zivkovic, Schwab, Ingason and Koulierakis are at yellow card limit. If they receive one in this game they will miss the playoff opener. Can we afford not to start those 5 players and still beat Volos?

Absolutely not, given we have recently dropped points against Asteras and PAS we are in position to be that confident we will win and not have 4.5 starters, start the match. I don't think Lucescu will do it either, we may see one or 2 on the bench but I dare say Ingason, Koulierakis and one of Zivkovic/Oliveira will start (if not both).

AEK plays Olympiakos this weekend too, so a win will see us either close the gap on AEK or jump Olympiakos on the table. Let's take care of business against Volos, something we weren't able to do in our recent travels.

God damn daylight savings...realized what time it really was about 35 minutes too late. Still, nice to see we're up a goal. Is there any home fan presence at all??

Lier! You were just doing a nap and forgot about it.

Daylight savings is in two weeks, dude!

2nd place is possible. But lets just focus on winning the cup and getting a later start date in Europe. Champions League will be nice but with our team right now and horrible coefficient in Europe, I doubt we would advance past the first qualifying stage.
