It's never too early to start!

I'll start this thread off with this tweet from the sportime guy, who is not exactly flawless in his predictions:

Spajic, who is owned by Krasnodar (recently playing on loan at Feyenoord) is apparently someone we're linked with. He's a CB, which is clearly a long-term need for us. But, being a Serb, he would eat up a foreign slot - I believe right now we're at the limit and Jaba is slated to return in about 1.5 months, when his loan deal is over. Unless we cut a few people (almost all of whom play at positions of need - fullbacks), I think this is kind of a non-starter.

Rumors are that negotiations with Andrija Zivkovic are not going very well and that it's unlikely that he will renew his contract with PAOK.

I am not surprised at all.

Very good news. The contract extension will be signed and announced next week. Three year deal, which does not include a buyout option.

It appears the sticking points were the length of the new contract and the buyout option.

Details about the new A. Zivkovic contract:

€ 1,300,000 per season, 10% increase each season
No buyout clause

This makes him the highest paid player on the current PAOK roster.

According to rumors and fake news we will be making 3 transfers and few additional players will leave in January, including a starter.

If Swiderski leaves, it's because we got paid! Not a bad thing IMO. Oliveira should be on the tail end of his recovery (though I would assume we'd move on another striker if lose Swiderski)

Well, Karol is playing less and less. And I saw Lucescu talking with him in a special way while he just played the dying seconds. And he is a scoring international.
