Blackhawk Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Yes back in 2010. I was stuck at a gas station on I-94 in North Dakota (west of Bismarck). I stopped at the gas station to get gas and while there the sirens went off and the police closed the expressway. We had to wait until they re-opened it. We could see the funnel cloud in the distance. It missed us by several miles.

I never want to be a storm chaser. Tornadoes can strike anywhere around the world, including Greece. One F-2 tornado hit a city (Ilias) not real far from my birthplace in Patras back in 2009. Antaeus7 Posted March 28, 2018 Author Posted March 28, 2018 That last picture was from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It was a devastating tornado that destroyed most of the city and took 64 lives away. So sad, 2011 was a very active year for tornadoes in the United States.
