Omonoia9 Posted September 27, 2017 Author Posted September 27, 2017 Original shot was blocked by Nikolaou which threw Proto off, and it came back to Higuain who had plenty of net to shoot at, and he didn't miss.

Ellada2004 Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Tough luck for OLY they played well in the 1st half.
jason Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) Both goals were sloppy we played better in this game the score was harsh.... Pardo and emenike missed sure goals due to poor pass cross the box. We will improve for next game. Edited September 28, 2017 by jason
RED SHERIFF Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 The only chance we have to ever be competitive at this level and take points is to build a strong core and keep them over 4/5/6 years.. I only wonder how strong a unit we would be if we had some of these guys still playing together. Toro Marcano Manolas K.Pap Holebas Samaris Mazuaku Weiss Mitroglou Kasami Mirallas Roberto Fejsa Perez etc.....these guys are all still playing at the highest levels.... the concept of taking Nicolaou, Engels, Proto, Koutris, Zdeljar to Torino and expect anything but a brave fight is ridiculous.. The team needs stability...the revolving door is killing us...and making us dysfunctional at this level.. 1
Brklyngrk Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Defensively, they played really well except for the last few minutes of the first half and towards the end in the second. The main thing I got out of this was the few opportunities they did half (OLY), they didn't know what to do. There was one breakaway that they had, forgot who it was, but he was pretty much had a clear shot at goal. Instead of shooting he tried to pass it and it got intercepted.
