pash Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 ^ and Olympiakos just had an offside goal (correctly) disallowed. Hopefully this result stands.
pash Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 The only way out of this is if I predict an Olympiakos victory. 1
pash Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Okay here goes: I think Olympiakos will comfortably win this one
pash Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 And the moment I type that they score. I'm done with this game!
Blackhawk Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Unfortunately you might be right as they scored a second one.
Athens4 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Shame that. Also a shame that Da Costa will not be making the trip to our place on Sunday.
Blackhawk Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) Olympiakos won 2:1. It's been 70 years since the same four teams made it to the semifinals of the Greek Cup: PAOK Olympiakos AEK Panathinaikos The date of the draw will be announced tomorrow. Who do we want to play? Edited March 2, 2017 by Blackhawk
Bajewy Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 ill take AEK. i wouldnt mind Panathinaikos and olympiak*s roughing each other up. 1
pash Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I want AEK too. Panathinaikos seems to have hit some form. I'd rather them and Olympiakos batter each other into submission, maybe grab a few reds while they're at it. Has it truly been 70 years since those four teams all made it? You'd think that this would be a somewhat common occurrence.
Blackhawk Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Yes last time it happened was in 1948-1949 season: 1948-49: Semi-Finals : A.E.K. - Olympiakos S.F.P. 2:1 Xenos, Maropoulos - Chatzistavridis Panathinaikos A.O. - P.A.O.K. 1:0 Papantoniou
pash Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Fortunately, by the time we play this next game we'll have had a few weeks without a Thursday game. Hopefully this will help with the fatigue.
Blackhawk Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Until the semifinal cup games we will only play once a week. Also at the end of March there is break for the NT. So things should become little bit easier. We have been playing twice a week for the past 2 months non-stop.
Dutch Eagle Posted March 3, 2017 Author Posted March 3, 2017 Draw will be 11:30 Greek time March 17th. Games will probably be played in April as the Gavs have to play EL (March 9 and 16) and - as Blackhawk mentioned - the NT will play at the end of March.
Athens4 Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Yet another flaw to the Greek cup system. Why the f*** is the draw two weeks after the quarter finals? Why not do it like in England or even UEFA? Do it the day after the last round! 2
pash Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Gives them more time to pick the best opponents for you-know-who ;)

Blackhawk Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Draw for the semifinal is tomorrow at 11:30 EET. We have a 33.33% chance to be drawn against AEK Panathinaikos Olympiakos
Bananas Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Only in Greece. Just when you thought it couldn't be any worse.
Dutch Eagle Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 They could not pick four balls to draw, but they were able to set the dates for the semis in the meantime .... 1
