Blackhawk Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 The four teams involved in he playoffs agreed to have the games played within the 48 hour limit. Would be interesting to see what would happen if some players took the issue to UEFA.
Dutch Eagle Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 AEK - Panionios 1-0 Standings: AEK 5 pts PAOK 4 Panathinaikos 4 Panionios 1
Blackhawk Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 Bad result. Tie would have been better. If we can win the next two games against Panionios, we should be in good shape.
Dutch Eagle Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Tziolis got only 1 game suspension for his red card against Pana.
BostonThanatos Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 (edited) We need a big win tomorrow and a draw in the AEK V PAO match Edited May 22, 2016 by BostonThanatos
Klaous Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Agreed. Would like to see something else than 1:1 or 1:2 ... A 0:3 is by far more charming. Let's do it! 1
BostonThanatos Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 looks like PAO is up 2-0 vs AEK. I actually don't mind this result. With a win vs Nionio in Toumba, we can hope for a AEK-PAO tie or even an AEK win. and we'll be up by 2. 2
Blackhawk Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 I think AEK's season ended with the cup win. I just hope they don't give it all against us and let everyone else walk all over them. Would be nice if they could at least tie PAO at home. 1
Klaous Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) Well, AEKara became AEKoula again, getting teared apart by Bazelakia. We better hope that Berg is really not going to play against us, this guy had been a fu**ing pain in the ass for the last several years. Nionios on the other hand is absolutely done, we need to finish them off now. Everything else than a big victory would be embarrassing. Strike them down with 3:0 and end their hopes for sth else than last place. Edited May 23, 2016 by Klaous
Bajewy Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 the novasports website doesnt have us playing pana for the second time(our last game.) did the final week of playoffs get scrapped?
pash Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Hopefully their losing of a player due to a red will outweigh our losing...four players. Do we have any idea how long Jairo will be out?
Blackhawk Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 Jairo is out until next season, and so is Mystakidis most likely. Also Pelkas and Charisis got yellow cards, and will miss some games. Kace still has one more game left on his red. Also I expect Mak not to be available for the last game of the playoffs.
Klaous Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Jairo will miss the rest of the playoffs. Mysta will probably miss the playoffs too. Tziolis has his comeback on Thursday (yay). Same goes for Vitor. The only problem I see is that we don't have any (good) wingers besides Rodrigues and Mak. Possibly that we see Golasa again.
pash Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Perhaps we'll see an U20 player make an appearance. Did Pozoglou die? Mak not being available for the final game is a blow, but we should use him while we have him. There's no way Ivic keeps Tziolis benched. I'm guessing we'll see something like the below. --Tziolis--Cimirot-- --Rodrigues--Charisis--Mak-- --Klaus-- 1
pash Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Also, I think Korovesis is good enough. Once we lose Mak, he'll be an option on the left side. I'm more worried about cards getting piled onto Pelkas and Charisis; both are magnets for them.
pash Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 I did not expect this going into it, with our points deficit. As long as the players give it their all, I'll be happy. We got too shaky at the end today. Cannot wait for that final match. Toumba's gonna be rocking.
Klaous Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Pelkas needs some rest now, we do not have another dekari. Maybe Berbatov, but that's... risky .
pash Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 If Pelkas needs to sit out one or more matches, then he'll get that rest. Charisis has done well enough the few times he's worked as playmaker, let him sub in. Well, him or Golasa (which is a much more iffy proposition). --edit-- looking back at this, I'm obviously wrong...Charisis is just as likely to sit out as Pelkas is. We really are thin over there. I could see Ivic going with a 4-4-2 and both Berbatov and Klaus out there, next time.
Bajewy Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 After watching panionios today I'd be OK with ivic putting himself in as playmaker for next match. 1
Klaous Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 http://www.gazzetta.gr/football/article/926054/panionios-kai-meta-soyidia-gia-mpergk Very well... den yparxoun xwris mpergk. Nikh me Nionio kai pame gia 10, isopalia me Koula kai pame 11, xastoukia ston Bazelo kai pame tsou lou me 14. 2
pash Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 It looks like Charisis will be out vs Panionios, Pelkas will be out vs AEK (due to accumulation of yellows).
Klaous Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) Koula with a dokari... We should be careful, they play like shite but their counter attacks are absolutely dangerous. EDIT: svagia sta Bazelakia me kokkinh pou den yparxei. Edited May 26, 2016 by Klaous
