Ethnikos Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) Too bad to see these guys dropping to Gamma Ethniki. Very historical club in the first division, biggest representation of Crete really. Anybody know why PAO hate these OFI? Edited June 19, 2015 by Ethnikos 1
Ethnikos Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 HAHAHAHA the league is full of those it's pathetic. Levadiakos, Panionios etc.
Irakleio97 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) OFI and Panathinaikos transfer 40 players between them and was owned from Vardogiannis = Olympiakos satellite? :nono: :nono: :nono: Edited July 22, 2015 by Irakleio97
Ethnikos Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 This was on Samaras' Instagram http://www.openitcdn.com/omilitis.gr/uploads/2015/02/samaras-fanela-ofi.jpg
pash Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I hope that was literally his first jersey, and that he physically can still fit in it. Seeing as how he's maintained the physique of a 15 year old boy, I could 100% believe that. 1
Blackhawk Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 OFI and Panathinaikos transfer 40 players between them and was owned from Vardogiannis = Olympiakos satellite? :nono: :nono: :nono: OFI was a PAO satellite team way in the past when the brother of Vardinogiannis was the owner. After he left OFI was on its own and struggling to stay in the first division. In recent years it has become friendly to Olympiakos.
Irakleio97 Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 OFI was a PAO satellite team way in the past when the brother of Vardinogiannis was the owner. After he left OFI was on its own and struggling to stay in the first division. In recent years it has become friendly to Olympiakos. Friendly is not same as satellite. Gavros have four satellite teams for they shame : Ergotelis, Platanias, Kerkyra, Levadiakos. Not OFI, Panionios, Veroia or Xanthi.
Dutch Eagle Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 The OFI-family lost one of it’s most beloved coaches ever. Eugene Gerards died today at the age of 77. Gerards, who lived in the village of Elia on Crete till he died, was the coach when OFI won their only silver: The Greek Cup in 1987.
Alphonse Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 OFI forward, Dimitris Manos has now scored 14 goals in 13 matches, he is 23, see where he finds himself next season 1
Soprano76 Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Apparently they are certain to be relegated due to match fixing. Will be on -6 points at the start of next year too.
Alphonse Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Big win over PAO. I hear the match fixing scandal is more of a farce and there is no great evidence against OFI 1
Soprano76 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Glad they are making a push to stay up. I hear a new stadium is in the works?
Alphonse Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Really?? They should just upgrade their awesome boutique stadium, looks so cool but one side can def do with an increase in grand stand size 1
Soprano76 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 I read it on AgonaSport or HellasFooty.. .somewhere
Soprano76 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 They've made the playoffs and will be in the top 5 for European football next season. Their first representation in Europe since the 07-08 season.
Blackhawk Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 The new Chicago based owner turned this team around since he took over. Great to see the team doing well. I always had a soft spot for OFI. 1
Alphonse Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 They finally found the form of first round against Lamia, they will wanna continue that to finish 5th at seasons end 1
Soprano76 Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 I think they get Europe regardless because Panatha is banned right?
Alphonse Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 That’s correct but if they finish in front of Aris they will start Europa Cup a little later 1
