Too bad to see these guys dropping to Gamma Ethniki. Very historical club in the first division, biggest representation of Crete really. Anybody know why PAO hate these OFI?

I hope that was literally his first jersey, and that he physically can still fit in it. Seeing as how he's maintained the physique of a 15 year old boy, I could 100% believe that.

OFI was a PAO satellite team way in the past when the brother of Vardinogiannis was the owner. After he left OFI was on its own and struggling to stay in the first division. In recent years it has become friendly to Olympiakos.

Friendly is not same as satellite. Gavros have four satellite teams for they shame : Ergotelis, Platanias, Kerkyra, Levadiakos. Not OFI, Panionios, Veroia or Xanthi.

The OFI-family lost one of it’s most beloved coaches ever. Eugene Gerards died today at the age of 77.

Gerards, who lived in the village of Elia on Crete till he died, was the coach when OFI won their only silver: The Greek Cup in 1987.

Apparently they are certain to be relegated due to match fixing. Will be on -6 points at the start of next year too.

Big win over PAO. I hear the match fixing scandal is more of a farce and there is no great evidence against OFI

Really?? They should just upgrade their awesome boutique stadium, looks so cool but one side can def do with an increase in grand stand size

They've made the playoffs and will be in the top 5 for European football next season. Their first representation in Europe since the 07-08 season.

The new Chicago based owner turned this team around since he took over. Great to see the team doing well. I always had a soft spot for OFI.

They finally found the form of first round against Lamia, they will wanna continue that to finish 5th at seasons end
