Crazy Posted November 7, 2007 Share Posted November 7, 2007 Olympiakos after the game with Real Madrid at tuesday will need to focus on the next upcoming game for yhe domestic league against Astera.Since Olympiakos has yet to win an away game and they are facing a team that already beat Panathinaikos a couple of weeks ago this game should be looked and played really seriously if we want to catch up with Aek and Pao.The only thing that concers me is that we have way to many of our defenders out with injuries like Antzas,Domi and not sure about Bravo and Cezar.Hopefully lemonis will find some trick to cover this holes and our team to get the win.I predict a 1-2 score. I'm also predicting here a "LUALUA flip" You can not say that you have an easy game when 75% of your defence key players are out injured,Antzas for 2 weeks,Cezar for 6-8 weeks,Bravo uncertain for this,Domi out since the start of the season and add Ledesma out for 2 weeks plus Kovasevic propably so he can be protected.Still Olympiakos has the advantage and more quality players on this game but is not going to be a walk in the park. Bad game,with a lot of contra wind and a bad pitch.Way to many mistakes by Olympiakos players that need to be corected at the second half.The only positive is that in the second half the wind is going to be in our back so i expect many shots towards astera goalie. Nikopolidis was rushed to clear the ball because an astera player was attacking him but because of the wind the ball went left and short,Djole tried to control it with his chest but it got some crazy speed and was returned right in front of Nikopolidis area and the astera tripoli player got the assist by the wind and just scored.Stupid.... :1eye: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

NikosVazelas Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 oly had the hardest time winning an away game in europe and this season they finally accomplished that feat. however if they dont turn thisgame around in the second half.. they will be winless away from karaiskaki in the superleague this season. i also think that with the wind in olys back for the second half, it will help them on D, but itmight help asteras defensively because it looks likeoly is playing with crosses all game long and it wont be make it easy to find balls in the air with that kind of wind.
