Guys Greece are not that far off. They went into Belgium against one of the best sides in the world and were a few minutes from a victory while reduced to 10 men. We were a playoff round away from getting to the World Cup and lost to a very technical and skilled Croatia. The team lost the first leg due to the corrupt decision of FIFA to suspend Manolas and Skibbes stupidities were to much to overcome. Bosnia are a good side but many so called "pundits" expected them to come in 2nd last time around and they didn't. The same Bosnia also went into Belgium and got pasted 4-0 and lost to Belgium's B side in Zenica again giving up 4 goals. The Bosnians have good attacking players but once again there attention to defensive side of the game will be there downfall.

I said it as well that this match at Bosnia could determine if Greece qualify for the Euros. Bosnia looked good in the Nations League but I think this will be a tight cagey affair and Bosnia defense is there weakness which could be exploited. I believe we could come out of Bosnia with a tie which would be great for Greece and if they win that would set everything up very well with 6 points from the first 2 games and then home matches to follow with Italy and Armenia.

Yup OLY had there chances they were the better team over two legs. However they should have put the game in Athens away at least 3-1. It's a shame they are out at this stage.

Pelkas with Mantalos doesn't work that's for sure. Mantalos has to pick up his game for AEK before getting any game time with the NT. Laz could come off the bench when we need an offensive spark. I agree no more Bakasetas he can't cut it for the Ethniki. A healthy Donis will give us an added dimension in attack and if he stays injury free I think he will produce big during this campaign.

According to Agonasport Lazaros is out for the remainder of the season with an ACL injury.

Yes they do struggle vs Ukrainian sides, as they did a few years back in the Europa League when they were eliminated by Dnipro. Hopefully they can pull it off in Kiev and advance to the round of 16.

OLY should have got the win. Fortounis missing that great chance was the pivotal moment would have put them up 2 nil and the game probably ends 3-1. Also Dynamo had not played a competitive game since December I figured an OLY win was guaranteed.

Hopefully Greece can get wins vs Lichenstein and then especially at Bosnia and that would really help them start to climb up the rankings.

What an awful performance from OLY in todays derby at Toumba . They were outplayed and they struggled to string 3 passes together.

The 2nd match at Bosnia could prove whether Greece qualify for the Euros. The team at minimum has to pull out a draw, a win would be so huge and could send us on our way to qualifying as Bosnia have to go to Finland for match day 3 which is a tricky encounter and then to Italy on match day four.

Good post. I would love to see Siovas in the starting 11. Mitroglou is still our best option at striker I dont see who else would pop in the goals playing in that position. Lets hope he gets his form and confidence back. I could see coach Ange using Fetfa as a sub when we are in need of a goal and bringing him on late in a match. I doubt he will start him.

^ He sure would have helped during the last campaign too in the matches with Belgium and Bosnia and especially in the first leg of the playoff vs Croatia. Skibbe the idiot!
