I'll take anything

I haven't mentioned any numbers. Considering we got 6 million from Lucas, not buying a quality striker, something we all knew we needed at the start of the season, is simply an act of negligence on behalf of Saviddi and Lubos. Nothing to do with him having to dip into his pocket. Anyway, I'm just expressing my frustration as the same thing keeps happening each year. I hope that somehow each new season will bring us something special but it's only a matter of time before reality sets in and it's just another wasted season. This season is yet another to add to the list.

You're kidding right? How does anybody go anywhere? How do Turkish teams get the players? Its called money. Why should we put up with watching Klaus game in game out not touch the ball when all Saviddi had to do was buy someone....He had Lubos looking all pre season only to be left trying to do budget deals at the last minute.

@Bananas Quality is in terms of having the right personnel capable of winning the league. It's pretty simple. Need good designs and appropriate budget to achieve this. Decision making is terrible under Saviddi. Budget is not adequate. We have done nothing with him at the helm and never will unless he wakes up. We needed a striker and didn't buy one. Why not? We let Kace go but we waste time with duds like Xarisi? Why? We get Thiam and hardly use him, why? We let Jairo go so a dud like Mystakidis plays. Why? Tsimirot plays every game as if he's an untouchable but does bugger all. Why? We move heaven and earth to buy a spud like Varela. Why? We have a manager who lacking tactically. He has no idea how to play against teams that want to sit back against us. He has no idea about talent identification. For all of the above I blame Saviddis.

What we need is QUALITY. This totally rests with Savvidis. Under him we have achieved sweet f all. He has delivered sh1t in the way of on field personnel and budget required to be successful. (Off the park is a different discussion). He is too involved in the running of the club and his recent step up to president will only damage our club further. While he's actively involved in the running of the club we've got no hope of on field success. He either stumps up the cash to do the job properly or he just levels with the fans and says he's here for his ego only with no realistic hopes of winning titles.

What matters is whether Saviddi learns anything from all his years of trying to win the league by spending the minimum on players and coaches.

Agreed....really should have been stitched up in the pre-season. Already cost us the Ajax game and min 5 points in the league.

I think this winter transfer window is a perfect time for Vierinha to come back. He is on the down at Wolfsburg and his creativity is exactly what we need. What do you guys think?

The time has come, actually it is well overdue, that Paok behaved like a big club. Carrying on the way we did after the game proves we have a victim mentality. We need to leave that stuff to the off field staff to fight the battle. Hearing Maleza and Glyko after the game talking that way tells me we have a loser mentality of looking to blame when we lose. We need to have a coach who instills true mental strength into our team. People can talk about budgets and fair enough but it also depends on how you spend it. Yes we desperately need a goalscorer but we also need an experienced coach who is not easily influenced by the Greek football landscape. Our club's biggest problem is that on the big stage WE LACK COMPOSURE. Whether it is missing easy goals, lack of concentration leading to conceding goals, we are not mentally tough enough. A Top coach is what we really need. As has already been mentioned Savvidis needs to spend the money once and for all and get the right people. Otherwise we will be saying the same things in 20 years.

We lost the game because we had no midfield in the second half. Taking Canas off was stupid particularly as his replacement Xarisi is substandard. He was completely to blame in 2nd goal. Ivic has to bite the bullet. Do you want to be a reactive coach whose moves are based on your opponent? Or do you pick your team to get a result against anybody? There is nothing to fear in the Greek league. So far he has been far too negative in my book
