Biesewar and Facundo have pushed Pelka down the pecking order and that can only be a good thing for Paok.

I'm happy to be proven wrong about Xarisi but I think this time next year he will not be with Paok.

Lucas staying put at Deportivo

Having Canas partner Cimirot in the midfield is an improvement no doubt. However, getting rid of both Kace and Tziolis is a big mistake as it leaves us without cover in that position when injuries and cards arise. Would have thought keeping Kace was a viable option. I do not rate Xarisi, he tries hard but makes way too many mistakes.

In fairness, they played a decent team in St etienne. Paid for years in the wilderness with a bad draw.

Biesewar looks the goods... Good skills and can run at defences. Facundo back gives us more grunt up front. Time's up for Klaus.

Now keep a clean sheet and get the hell out.

Last year injuries had everything to do with tudor and his fitness guy. This year we have it sorted. Playing midweek should be bread and butter for a club like paok

I know we're Greek but let's not fall into the trap of defending or attacking players just because they're Greek or foreign. I know many here are big supporters of Xarisi and mistakidi... I am yet to be convinced by either. Xarisi was responsible for the foul that led to the goal when there was no reason to dive in like that and he made many bad passes. He's a young player who has a good work rate and hopefully will improve with time. Mistakidi has done nothing overly impressive or bad so he needs time. What freaks me out is how someone can bag Biesewar based on 5 minutes coming on as a sub? Truly no idea. If we're being honest, our best starting line-up will not include many Greeks...most of our Greeks are squad players.

What's this talk about Greek football? Bit of an overreaction...Our performance was straight out of the playbook. Lack of composure in front of goal costs us and ultimately punished by our lack of discipline at the back. Let's not kid ourselves. We are a Europa league group stage team with aims for knockout stage. We have a better squad this year and need to build on it each year step by step.
