  1. Olympiakos is salty that they've lost control of EPO and are taking a stand. At least that's what the kafenia would have you believe ?
  2. One of the few games left that worries me a little. We know Aris will come out and be very physical, we are a better team so we really shouldn't have any problems. But it is a derby, so you never know. If it was at Xarilaou I'd be a little more concerned. Biseswar as the dekari please Mr.Lucescu!!!!!!!
  3. Credit must go to El Kaddouri, many fans were bashing him and wanted him gone, now they are singing his praises (Love you @pash) Although far from flashy he is fundamentally sound. Retains possession, tracks back works hard. He is a coaches dream, and has come up big for us in big games. Derbies and European matches are where he looks like he belongs, against smaller teams where we dominate possession he looks a little more average but he has still come up big. Goal v Panionios(away) earlier in the season giving us 3 points and then assisting the winner against Aris are two major moments that come to mind. He has helped us, and I'm happy Razvan put his foot down and kept him. Even if it's just for a few more months.
  4. Match is still going! Hopefully he can bag his hat-trick Still 25 mins to play
  5. @Pontos Don't sell your city short, I met a girl from Adelaide a couple of years ago in Europe. She was one of the hottest birds I've ever met. Her boyfriend was really nice too
  6. entaxei re file, we know olympiako plays the best football. PAOK has been pushed by the officials, Vieirinha should have been given a 30 game ban for the awful non-handball call vs Lamia. Theodoridis isn't deluded when he compares Olympiakos to Barcelona. We should all bow to the superior Olympiakos who plays nice football but needs 4 million chances to score a goal. But seriously good luck on Sunday, I hope the game is played in good spirits and best team wins! Hopefully the assassin Savvidis doesn't drop a feather from the sky that renders Fortounis unconscious.
  7. Disappointing result, but it sounds like for 75 mins we played very well. Ignason apparently very good (Which you'd hope for 4million) and Olivieria sprayed the ball about. Pasxalakis reminding us that he is indeed a Greek keeper after all and has the mistake in him one every 3-4 games. Those who saw the match any way we can see Ignason displacing Crespo in the next few weeks? Would be very harsh to drop either of our centre backs given both have been colossal all season but if Ignason is as good as they say he'll find a way to force his way in?
  8. As we all wanted it looks there will be massive rotation. Varela, Crespo, Matos, Vieirinha, Mauricio and Biseswar all left in Thessaloniki. Good move by Razvan, don't need to risk any of these guys getting injured or sent off leading into what could be our biggest game for a very long time. The squad travelling to Athens is: Πασχαλάκης , Ρέι , Λύρατζης , Μπαλογιάννης , Γιαννούλης , Τόσκα ,Μαλεζάς , Ίνγκασον , Σάκχοφ , Μίσιτς , Ολιβέιρα , Πέλκας , Ελ Καντουρί ,Λημνιός , Ενρίκε , Άκπομ , Σφιντέρσκι , Καρέλης
  9. Agreed. Watching this game reduced any hopes I had of AEK potentially taking any points off Olympiakos. It could still happen but they're going to need a lot of luck
  10. On his way to Galatasaray on an 18 month loan deal. Hopefully he can find some form and goals in Turkey. Lord knows we need him firing for the Ethniki
  11. His stats do look impressive. Wonder if he'll force his way into our starting XI with Lucescu generally anti-change, especially when the team is winning. If he is as good as they are saying then he'll be the starter in no time next to Mauricio with Shakhov, Misic and Canas becoming depth options. Canas may even be 5th in the pecking order when all is said and done. We'll see how he goes. Honestly didn't expect this many players coming in, I guess 2 are loan returns and we've taken 2 players on loan. Buying one (Swiderski) and waiting for our 2nd to be announced Ingason. Our squad all of a sudden is very very big again
  12. Yeah I think that's how we'll go. I read somewhere he was thinking of resting Mauricio but the only way he can do that is if he plays Misic with El Kaddouri (given Shakhov suspension and Canas injury) and I can't see Lucescu doing that. Unless he does something completely left field and plays Pelkas there, but that wouldn't be very Razvan of him would it?
  13. I'm not normally one for conspiracy theories, but the fact Canas came back and played 15-20 mins and is now "injured" again does have me raising my eyebrows as to whether it does have anything to do with his contract situation. I'm not sold on it, but I'm just... intrigued... As for the match this is a tough one, as you guys have said we have an awful record at OAKA so this won't be a walk in the park. The 3-5-2 could cause us problems especially when they are attacking they're going to outnumber us in midfield and overwhelm us. Shakhov and Mauricio are going to need to have big defensive games (not sure they're capable of doing that given they aren't "koftes") otherwise Varela/Crespo and Pasxalakis are going to need to be huge, which they have been for most of the season
  14. Beautiful football, we are scoring when we can be bothered i love it. Lovely run and assist by Jaba, top finish by Akpom
  15. Chuba deserves a goal, well played. We haven't got out of 2nd gear and we are 2-0 up
  16. Scored the equaliser against his fave team to bang in goals against, Bayern Munich. Currently 1-1 in the 35th minute
  17. Predicting a heavy win we're in hot form atm. Goals coming from everywhere, I'll go with a 4-0 Maybe I'm delirious from not having slept in 19 hours?
  18. I'd assume it has to with him refusing to train/rehab with the team. Or maybe not allowing the club's doctors to asses his injury? Or as you say pash faking the injury and not allowing the teams doctors to have a look it at and deem him fit/unfit
  19. Unfortunately the fairy tale came to an end tonight. Stefanos was dismantled by Nadal 6-2, 6-4 6-0. Was always going to be tough and so it proved. Regardless he has had a magnificent tournament and has proven to the world that he is not far away taking the next step and competing for Grand slams. There's a huge year coming up for him. Not only that he got the whole nation talking about tennis and watching the game. The sport will continue to grow in Greece if he continues this way and honestly i can only see him getting better
  20. Great strike by Misic! Could see from his highlights that he has a good shot on him, seen him score on both sides of his body too. Hopefully the goals keep coming from him, always handy having a midfielder pinch hitting with a few
  21. Giannoulis officially on his way back! Looks like after all that Warda is on his way back to Atromitos on loan https://www.sport24.gr/football/omades/Paok/paok-anakoinwse-thn-epistrofh-giannoulh-me-tromerh-fwtografia.5418688.html
  22. Still have to pinch myself sometimes, wasn't long ago we were only signing players on free transfer or 800k-900k was considered a BAM signing. We really have come on leaps and bounds and how we are run as a football club and how we operate. Ivan you have truly put us on the map, thank you. @Blackhawk Jaba was rumoured to be 5 mil, you think it was less? Either way 3 mil is a decent chunk of change. We are confident in this kids resale value, but hey that's what business is. Not that I would know, I have $185 in my bank account but that's a story for another day
  23. Tsitsipas does what he has to. Through to the 4th round where we will now take on Federer. Mission accomplished for him, beaten who he should have. He'll now have a free swing at Federer and anything he achieves beyond that is a bonus. Bravo Stefane!
  24. Both starting in a few mins local time. Tennis Australia playing both Greeks at the same time to minimise the support for Sakkari, who's playing Australia's great white hope Ash Barty. They were always anti-Greek fans and the chanting. They used to throw us out for just coughing in their direction
  25. Apparently after all that Swiderski is on his way to Genoa according to the Italian press. Could Jerdisek be on his way to us after all?
