Looks like the move Cagliari didn't eventuate, but he's joining Sheffield United in the Premier league on loan. https://www.sport24.gr/football/EllinesExoterikou/kleinei-sth-sefilnt-gioynaitent-o-retsos.5676499.html A English article just because sport24 let me down last time with the links to Cagliari https://www.sheffieldunited.news/news/report-sheffield-united-striker-deal-with-panagiotis-retsos/

What an actual country we have. Sooo much of the media is controlled by people who have an agenda. For what it's worth I've always thought Sport24 was relatively unbiased and generally pretty good. I will say though they don't have anything on the Stimena trial which started today, make of that what you will

FIFA? UEFA? You mean where Kurio Savvas Theodoridis son is the general secretary? I'm with Bananas no doubt they will be impartial ?

We've been drawn to face Panathiniakos in the quarters, tricky draw PAO is in very good form of late. The other pairings are Lamia-Olympiacos Atromitos-Aris Panetolikos-AEK/Asteras

Our boy Ivan coming back at the big lad from down south with some fire "Τόσα χρόνια ακούγαμε τους ανθρώπους του Ολυμπιακού τον Μαρινάκη και το Θεοδωρίδη να μας λένε: μην κλαίτε και κάντε επενδύσεις. Τώρα κλαίνε αυτοί. Τους συμβουλεύουμε λοιπόν να κάνουν επενδύσεις" https://www.sport24.gr/football/omades/Paok/big-4-h-apanthsh-savvidh-ston-marinakh.5673154.html Savvidis has learnt how to play the game, and big boy Vangeli doesn't like it.

Danger game for Stefanos too, Raonic is a former top 5 player and has a massive serve.
-
Looks he got injured and was subbed off in the first half after he had scored. Hopefully nothing serious he has been having a great year
-
Sakkari dispatches of Gasparjan easily 6-2 6-2 Next up for her is the winner of Peng-Hibino In the 2nd round Tsitsipas is playing against the 36 year old German Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Var overturns the offside given on Pelkas and goal! 2-0!

Good chance to start Lamprou, he is more suited to these types of games where we will dominate possession and he can probably get away with not tracking as much as he would need to against one of the top teams. Seems the stars are alligning with Biesewar, El Kaddouri still out and Vieirinha dropping to left back, seems like its between him and Stoch and there is no way Stoch starts

Fetfa is jealous of the sidestep ukwork just pulled off stepping around all of the facts Yiankos dropped
-
Although it was basically a dead rubber one thing that has come out of this game is something we have all long suspected that Lamprou can offer us something even if it's off the bench. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't get mins especially if we are chasing a game, interesting to see if we hang on to him and if Ferreira gives him more game time moving forward.
-
You know what they say, a 6-1 aggregate lead is the most dangerous score in football
-
Lamprou's goal was spectacular!! Great determination and a great finish
-
I'm wondering if Lamia are going to crucify and sack their keeper again like they did to Vellidis after our game. He copped 4 goals, Vellidis was chased out for only conceding three! It must be over him, or are Olympiacos and Lamia good old friend and "Ela mwre twra, ta efage to palikari ti na kanoume twra?"

Mavropanos is on the verge of moving to Nuremberg on loan for the rest of the season. They are currently fighting for their lives in Germany's second division as they are third last and in a relegation playoff spot. Would've been better to see him move to a club in the top tier somewhere, but I guess any minutes are good at this stage. https://www.sport24.gr/football/EllinesExoterikou/konta-se-nyremvergh-o-mayropanos.5668128.html

You're backing in Zivkovic blackhawk? I think Paschalakis will get a run between the posts after Zivko's last few weeks, he never looked safe. He did keep those clean sheets but he never turned in a Paschalakis-esque performance where he kept us in a match. I think the clean sheets had more to do with the team getting to know Ferreira's system and tactics. I too would like Akpom to start, but given he started midweek in Crete I think Swiderski will get the nod to lead the line.

5 derbies for zero wins so far this season, fair to say this is a must win. Just to clear the mental hurdle of winning a derby. It's alarming that except for the match against Olympiakos we've conceded at least 2 goals in all other derbies so far this season a clean sheet would be massive. I think unless he has a disaster against OFI in the cup, Paschalakis will be reinstated in goals for this one. AEK's new Italian coach loves his defense and will no doubt come and shut up shop and try and hit us on the break, I think we maybe be in for a difficult evening where patience will be key.

So so sloppy, poor touches, turning over the ball constantly, zero cohesion. Aris look hungrier and more willing to get to 2nd and 3rd balls.
-
Players looks slow and off the pace, can't deal with Aris pressing especially Matos and Limnios. No point standing around get Akpom and Biseswar on the pitch and try turn it around
-
Nervous about this one, this is the game that Aris lives for they'll come out all guns blazing to take points off us. If our defense remains solid as it has been for the last 7-8 games then I think we'll get the win, if Aris manage to take the lead, well we all remember the first game in Toumba where about 20 minutes of football was played. Of course our Yellow and black friends will have you believe 7 mins of stoppage time was to allow us to equalise but hey let's not let the truth get in the way of a good parnga story.

Scored in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Manchester united, it was their first home league win since October!!

How much better do you think we can get? We have to keep in mind we are playing in Greece, we aren't going to get a superstar to come across. This is a guy who game at 26-27 who was a Serie A starter. For Greece I'd say that's a pretty decent signing. He has something that is incredibly important, discipline. It's the reason Lamprou doesn't get a game, it's the question mark over Jaba's game and the same with Stoch. Why do you think Limnios plays? Now I know you can't have a team full of hard workers with no flair and minimal attacking ability but I'm just not in a huge hurry to get him out the door. I don't want El Kaddouri starting on the wing against Atromitos, Lamia etc that's when he looks poor. In the big games he stands up and is more suited to those types of games and for me that's a sign of a good player.
-
I must be the only one who rates poor old Omar. He isn't flashy but he is an all round solid player. Hard working, completes passes, has good touch/control and he moves to the right places. He's not going to beat 3 players and score a goal of the season contender but I would be happy to keep him around. He is the type of player you want in big games as he usually makes the right decision and can draw a foul to take the heat off. And he is usually one of our better players in derbies and European matches.
