Δυσκολα τα πράγματα φέτος παιδιά. Είχαμε τις πιο εύκολες κληρώσεις απο όλες τις ελληνικές ομάδες και βάλαμε 1 γκολ σε 180'. Botia , Da Costa κάκοιστοι, δεν χρειάζεται 1 CB πλέον αλλά 2. Σιόβας προσωπικά συμπαθής μου είναι τον προτιμώ και από τους 2 τωρινούς , οπότε αν όχι 2 τότε ενα CB απαραίτητο. DeLaBella καλός Omar ο καλύτερος , τουλάχιστον οι 2 απο τους 4 αμυντικούς μας είναι όντως επαγγελματίες. Cambiasso, Milivojevic, στα 6αρια-8αρια δεν μπορώ να πώ ότι έχουμε κακούς παίκτες. Καιρός να πάρει ευκαιρίες και ο Μπουχαλάκης μιας και ο Καμπιάσσο δεν μπορεί να παίζει συνέχεια. Το παιδί αξίζει χρόνο. Στο 10αρι έχουμε τον Φορτούνη και τον Dominguez για back up. Θεωρητικά καλυμένοι αλλά ρε παιδία δεν ξέρω, και στα μάτς με την ΜπερΣεβα και με την Αρούκα , όχι μόνο δεν παίζει , αλλά μου φαίνεται τέρμα ξενερωμένος σαν παίκτης. Σαν τον οπαδό που βλέπει Μαζουακου , Ρομπέρτο, Φινμπογκανσον, Μανιατη, Κασαμι, Ντουρμάζ και βλέπει να ξεμένουν τα παλτά. Πιθανότητα δίνω και στο να ήθελε να του ρθει πρόταση απο μεγαλύτερη ομάδα και αυτή να μην ήρθε/ο ολυμπιακός να μην το επέτρεψε, αλλα το θέμα είναι οτι φαίνεται εντελώς ξενερωμένος. Κάτι ακουγώταν για Valbuena αλλά μπά , δεν παίζει. Extrems Seba,Pardo,Marin άξιοι, αν και τα τελευταια χρονια σε ολυμπιακο εχουμε δει Weiss , Affellay οπότε ντάξει. Καλοί για ομάδα που κυνηγάει να κάνει κάτι "καλό" στο Europa League και να κυνηγήσει πρωτάθλημα. Κάτι λεγόταν για Quaresma αλλά μπά , δεν παίζει. CF Νιλμάρ κρατάω πολύ μικρό καλάθι με βάση το ιστορικό των ομάδων του. Cardozo ντάξει, θα τρελαθώ αν θά ρθει μακάρι. και κρατώντας και Ideye για back up ας πούμε πως είμαστε καλυμμένοι. Όμως δεν μου κολλάει κάι. Το Ρόστερ χειρότερο απο ΑΕΚ και ΠΑΟΚ δεν είναι.Η ομάδα δεν έχει κολλήσει σωστά και δεν παίζει σωστή μπάλα. Για να δούμε.

Well To be honest I dont believe he wanted Tziolis either. We ve said it though, a player that gets picked everytime for his NT either is a world class player who can still affect the game somehow on a bad day, or the dude has a βύσμα. I don't believe anyone considers Tzioli a world class top talent, so it probably is the 2nd. My point is , if out of 23 slots the Βύσμα is only one, and not 4-5 like previous times (Papazoglou?Lukas Vuntra?Karabelas?Athanasiadis?Aravidis?). Which means we are heading to a nice direction. Maybe Excluding Mr Tziolis another player who is questioning is Oikonomou. But who are we to judge ? Most of you were bashing Santos for not "making the Youth familiar with the NT so that they can continue the success of the previous athletes". Skibbe is doing it now so go make him an άγαλμα guys. These players selected alongside Vellidis,Bouchalakis,Kone,Tachtsidis,Fetfatzidis need to be our 30-men core. It sounds bad but honestly, we have noone else. (Platellas,Tzanetopoulos,Mystakidis,Pelkas,Mavrias can also be useful in the future). Gianniotas is having huge impact for a team not smaller than Oly,Pao,Paok this year, and in fact they did better in all their qualifiers despite being unseeded in their 2 last match ups. They kept Gianniotas and sold de vincetti ahead of their qualifiers. I believe he is a big talent , almost wasted when going to Olympiakos.

a win will be a nice psychological boost for the players but also for the fans ourselves. But last time we did something that was considered an overachievement (a.k.a. WC 2014 run) we spent almost 2 years without a win after that. I think a draw is both a realistic and good thing to target for. But to be fair, seeing their squad , apart from Huntelaar, Depay, Schneider and Wijnaldum , i don't see anyone else worth to fear (and for Depay and Wijnaldum I still aint sure if they are worth their money or not). The Dutch defence is and has always been a joke so scoring a goal should not be too hard. Not conceding more than 3 is what Skibbe should be working on. I want to see how this coach has worked our defending on set pieces. We have been bad at this for the last 4 years, I hope he/they noticed and made preparations.

Maniatis has left to find a team more than 1,5 maybe 2 weeks ago. He might already be there but they are not announcing him yet (who knows why). I doubt he went to the airport and took the plane to go somewhere with even the small doubt that the move is not going to happen/he doesn't want it to happen. Can't be sure what you mean about most in form Greek player being Ninis., he is playing at a mediocre team at one of not the best leagues. You clearly can't believe he is our most in form player of the Midfield,when we have players like Mantalos proving his worth against a strong Saint Ettiene and Samaris playing for top club Benfica. Im just posting about players in his position. Ninis seems done.

How is giannitoas playing?

Ninis and Kone are probably injured guys, that's the reason they are not here. I wouldn't call Petsos average, guy was one of the superstars of Austrian League and wanted from a Bundesliga team. Tziolis, I said it , he probably has a Βύσμα, so our call ups will have to be 22 players + Tziolis.

B) If we consider that the call ups have a line up it's Goalkeepers first, Then Defenders, Then Midfielders,Then Wingers, Then Atk Midfielders, Then CFs. I am not 100% if that's based and typically correct but I think he is listed as a winger. *Maniatis, do we have any news for him? No spot at Olympiakos and its been more than a week since there are rumours he got a transfer. *I don't like the idea of either Fortounis and Mantalos being used as wingers. They need totally different characteristics, and I believe they will play both, one as a starter and the second as a sub Thoughts. In Bold are players which I believe did not exactly deserve a call up. Oikonomou proved he doesn't fit in. That would be the squad Id be totally happy with. Maybe adding injured Kone these are our best 24 players currently. Promising Pelkas as well makes 25 players. Although I used to agree with you, there is no team who is aiming high in the current era football , that does not have wingers . even the whole Left/Right Midfielders literally nowadays means winger. Holebas has been playing as a winger if you watch his games with watford. Gianniotas came out of nowhere, a good career for such a young age and we have noone else. Fetfatzidis also an option since playing teams like Estonia , Cyprus, Gibraltar isn't anything more than the defenders he has to face at Saudi Arabia. Bosnia Defense also breaks easily. Greece Squad has been fuller than ever. Two complete strikers in the names of Mitroglou and Karelis, an upcomming (hopefully) talent like Vellios and Bakasetas for strikers. Gianniotas proving he is worthy of Champions League (even if biggest part of APOEL isn't - it would be nice if he manages to progress and show the big stage what he can do) , Fetfatzidis still existing and breaking ancles , proving he is really the Greek Messi with bad guidace and poor life choices (could rename him to Mess-y?) and Holebas being our most skilled and probably fast player proving how much of a waste becoming a professional Left Back is. 10th position Fortounis, Mantalos , Kone , an upcomming Winger/10 Pelkas. Defence stayed as good as always, and probably upgraded (defensivewise), but we still lack a Karagounis/Katsouranis didumo and are hoping to find it in the faces of Samaris/Tachtsi/Kone/Manitais/Petsos. samaras missing too. These young players need correct guidance. I wish EPO could actually give their own agents to these players so they don't get wasted in a team their playtime will last less than me in sex. All players mentioned , no matter if it was offence,defence,midfield would be starters for any other NT of pot 3, the pot we ended up, and probably half of the pot 2 teams. all we need is the winner mentality.

Not in the 10 position I guess. I hope he gets loaned on a decent championship (something like Turkey,Switzerland, Belgium) because he is also a decent winger and good at corners. We don't want him getting unfit.

Platanias , Panaitolikos , Veroia , Kerkyra, Levadiakos gonna be fighting for relegation imo. The rest teams can bring surprise results against all good teams.

Sokratis was considered a backup of BVB and ended up playing instead of the Serbian tall guy. Was used so much as a RB when their original back was missing and he wasn't 100% good there, kinda wasted but good defensively. Sokratis , everyone knew him in Greece as a talent since his AEK years but to be fair, he hit it big worldwide like what, 3 years ago?Manolas was lucky he was playing at Olympiakos good year progressing at the R16 Champions League and playing Manchester United efficiently. Showing what you are made of at top level is probably what attracts big teams interest. Not to mention the fact that he has been Roma's best player in the CL both years hes been there.

You are missing the point Gringos. Ofc Aek became better than last year, no doubt. But in my opinion PAOK, PAO became far stronger, and kept the players tey really were interested in and should have kept. Finally some nice marketing and transfers from both teams. Olympiakos is Olympiakos, even failing you can't consider them gonners right now. Panionios did also well keeping Siopis, Risvanis and Karim, but also adding Fountas,Ben, Olaitan, Cypriot Antoniadis, Savvidis from paok I think they have a decent squad as well, not known players but completely underrated. Completely anaware of Larissa, Iraklis and Asteras Tripolis, but them contesting for a play off spot is also a possibility. Greek Super League has gotten much better in my opinion , especially last year and this season.

And a Central Defender, And a Left Winger, and a Right Back until elabdellaoui comes back, and someone to give breaths to cambiasso, and someone for a starter amf coz dominguez won't cut the whole season. That's pretty much about it.

Holebas in his current team is playing as a left midfielder on a 3-5-2 system. Why are we arguying about which of the stafylidis/holebas should play? We don't really have anyone else as a left mid/winger, so since he spent all his proetoimasia playing in that position , the real question is this: Why don't we field both? - - - - - - - - - - -Karnezis- - - - - - - - - - - -Torosidis-Manolas-Sokratis-Stafylidis- - - - - Tachtsidis- - - - Samaris- - - - - - - Gianniotas- - - Fortounis - - -Fast Guy with bad attitude - - - - - - - - - Mitroglou - - - - - - - - - - - Everyone apart from Torosidis and Tachtsidis seems to be a starter for their club (Samaris a bit left behind as well at Benfica but probably due to rumours of him being sold?). It would be nice to be able to fit other players like Mantalos and Karelis in this but we only get 11 players. To be honest, if Tachtsidis doesn't play regularly (doesn't have to start) we could swap him for Mantalos/Petsos and put Samaris as a 6th(DM) and one of the above at the 8(CM) position. Went to the NT wikipedia page and apparently they have already arranged 3 friendlies (after the WC Qualifiers are over) with Auckland City FC and New Zealand U-23 and Singapore NT. All 3 matches will be played @ NZ apparently.

A russian team that plays in Europa league offers 20 million for a player. Meanwhile Greek teams aiming for Champions League (and having a taste of that money) spend 3-5 million on a player and suddently we are supposed to be thankful. Of course Zenit has a bigger income,but probably better president too.

I was one of the people who were hoping the move to Forrest would happen. Apparently its too much for him. Shouldnt stay at Ira. Should have stayed in Greece Oly/Aek were probably hoping they could get their hands on him. Would probably be better if he did that. Who knows though.
