Tziolis was the reason paok was doing decent half-seaason runs until last year. He in fact is a great player. But getting picked while with no team is unacceptable and made him look low in my eyes.

an extra CB can work offensively , considering that instead of torisidis you actually get a Right Midfielder/Winger however you call it, Holebas would work on the Left Flank as well, and this would open up an extra spot for Karelis up front, who keeps on scoring, or even 2 AMs with Mantalos and Fortounis and one Striker. This would all work, in theory, in a videogame, on this forum. Only a few teams really play 3-5-2 in reality, Chelsea Juventus Watford are some that come to mind, but honestly, there is something that you and me obviously are not aware of. Also I like how you boost Kyriakos Papadopoulos as being our top 3 player, but you kick Torosidis out of the lineup to put him in his place. Torosidis is also a pile of this NT, so if he has to get out of the starters for a 3cb i think I ll pass. On his Game Torosidis can be our best offensive player.

You re wrong in many aspects. 1)According to football standards. Their league is far ahead from ours. Even if it;s just about budget, it gets FAR better players to join the league. They invite better players to join the league as well and so on. Turkish League is gonna be in the top 5 (kicking french and portuguese leagues) in less than 5 years. Modern football is all about money. Im not debating this, your patriotism is just in the middle and doesn't let you agree with this. 2) GSL isn't and hasn't been in a state of decline, It has hit rock bottom. Players earning too low, teams getting kicked from the championship because they can't pay debts, the easiest solution is getting all the way down to G' Ethniki so that you don't have to pay most of your debts. If this video doesnt prove that Pelkas is a quite smart offensive player then i dont know what does. I know its just Panaitolikos defence, but look how many assist he provited for the rest of the PAOK players to just fail the chances. I ve missed a few Panionios games. Siopis doesn't deserve to be selected. He deserves to start. His playstyle is similar to Maniatis in his good days, but he has good shot as well. Runs up and down the field defending, can take πρωτοβουλίες and helps in offence as well. There is a reason Panionios has the same points as Panathinaikos, and more than Paok/Aek. Either you like it or not, it has good players.

How exactly can a player improve when the whole fuss was on Rodriguez. Whole team was playing for him. Now that he is gone im pretty sure , not only Pelkas, who took his spot, but also the rest of the team will be seen more on the score sheet either with a goal or an asssist.

Pelkas was chosen under 2 coaches to represent the NT, and even had a huge influence in the win over Hungary, maybe he didnt score but I remember seeing him run up and down and get the game flow. Maybe he aint ready, but he is gonna be an upgrade from Bakasetas and Karelis winger. Maybe even an upgrade from Mantalos too. Its a shame we can't play a 3-4-3 . wouldnt say randombly, he just didnt start for the 3-4 last matches. was dethrone from the starting spot. but he started vs both Roma and Juventus so I guess they dont consider him being panic choise or to rest te others.

Most players play for different reasons for their NT and their club. So its pretty obvious that , being part of a top 10(at best) team, in Bologna, aint gonna make him tryhard as much as he was at Roma, a possible title contender. I dont think he has declined in the NT at all, maybe when it comes to duration and speed, things that were certain loss for a player while ageing.
