Its not a mater of Bosnian/Greek/X-Nation mentality. Ultras are the garbage of society. I find them pretty amusing to be honest, but I don't attend matches with rivalries to get caught in any such incidents. Probably that's why I find them amusing and entertaining.

Ye dude I dont disagree that the match in 2013 was yours. But there is a difference playing a game thats 1-0 than a game thats 2-0. A goal out of nowhere could give us a draw and automatic qualification. Bosnia is a much better team atm. Nope. Maybe Dzeko and Pjanic can give offensive solutions but that's just it. You can win all the minnows 4 or 5-0 but Belgium literally crashed you. Defense is unrealistically off level. Its not nice football but being able to give the ball and wait your opponent is another aspect of modern football. Since Pjanic is Bosnian and plays for Juve you should have seen it from the Cattenaccio masters themselves. This is why, imo this is your last chance for a World Cup and possibly a decent run. Dzeko will quit due to age before the next one and Pjanic will be 32 as well. Probably missing their 8 Miralem Pjanic. the only top class player apart from Dzeko and Kolasinac they have. take a look at their midfielders called, and some will have to play, if Pjanic is injured: *Haris Medudjanin: the bosnian tziolis, plays in MLS right now. *Muhamed Besic: was injued for 227 days from august till mid march, this season only played 190 minutes in youth premier league for everton. Probably good to play at such club,but what can he do its been 12 months since he last played at a high level. *Mato Jajalo: Starter defensive mid at relegated palermo. *Gorgo Cimirot: Paok defensive mid, decent as well for Greek Super League. *Sanjin Prcic: Starter at Ligue 1 Rennes. You don't rate Cagliari starter Tachtsidis, but you gonna rate a relegation team player in the same league. You don't rate Siopis who tryharded in a low budget Panionios team but you rate a Paok defensive midfielder.. You don't rate Tziolis (ok thats obvious im here with you fam) but the Bosnian Tziolis is gonna dominate the midfield vs creative players like Mantalos and Fortounis. You don't rate Samaris but for some reason a Rennes midfielder has to win us. Our midfield isnt good , its obvious. When it comes to Greeks:I want: Kapino,Vellios Gianniotis , Gianniotas, Retsos, Fortounis,Siopis,Risvanis Androutos and Manthatis in the squad. Kapino , Fortounis , Retsos,Vellios obviously look like they are going to be starters next season. Gianniotis Androutsos and Manthatis subs and Gianniotas I am not sure. He was praised and loved in APOEL both seasons. I am also not sure what position will Siopis and Risvanis take. Panionios defence was not much different than that of Oly. (Panionios conceded 23 while Oly 16). In the playoffs Panionios conceded 6, 1 goal per match, which still doesn't indicate a bad defence. Not bad stats for a team probably at the beginning of the season aiming on being a midtable team/not being relegated. So I am not sure how Siopis and Risvanis will have impact in the Oly squad. Expecting Risvanis to be the first back-up CB and Siopis probably starting, becoming a Maniatis successor. When it coms to foreigners: 6,5 mill for Omar are very little in my opinion, considering how important he is for us. I would prefer to keep him if no other offer comes. I would also like to keep Dominguez for a Fortounis back up , because he also seems to love the team. Seba , Ansarifard , Elyounoussi,Romao also seem like interesting players who would probably stay on the team but can't understand if they will be starters , subs , or benchwarmers. Skillwise yes, but Tziolis is 1,92. If you play 4-4-2 with 2 wingers and 2 strikers we might even dominate the midfield just by that. We used Tachtsidis vs Belgium only to disable the high game of Fellaini. Damn, just imagine Tziolis - Medudjanin both starting. Slowest progression in football since the sport itself began. Fortounis is nothing on retreiving the ball and pressuring. He is creative and that's just it. So I doubt he ll be any much of help in the midfield, just an extra option for a pass. But I guess the "wingers" we use arent exactly the "i w8 the ball on the flank area to hit them from there". the one is an attacking midfielder and the other one a Left Back, they usually close in, we know our midfield sux so we put lot of men in there.

Football is not about names though. A bad player (Fellaini s an example) might do exactly what is needed and suits the team. Greece defence if you check it is nothing more than Manolas and Sokratis. Our Fullbacks currently are nothing special defensively, Torosidis is smart and good offensively still got some pace left although hes getting old, but he never was such a good defender like Sokr or Manolas. 2 people cant keep a defence. Its the defensive mechanism and the mentality of the Greek players who can control the game tempo vs big teams that makes us so hard to score. Even teams like Bosnia were unable to get in our goal area to score. They had many chances in Greece but most of them (if not all) were from outside the box, even the goal was from outside the box from a lucky free kick. Maybe Samaris seems to give nothing . I am actually aone of those who call him a "few times plays well - mostly makes terrible mistakes" type of guy, but maybe there is something he does that the camera cannot catch. Maybe it is away from the ball, maybe it is a certain pass he can do. Tacthsidis the same. People flame him but he has been very good every time he plays, his through balls and long balls in free space can be usually utilized with Gianniotas and Stafylidis in my opinion, especially vs teams with defenses like bosnia and Cyprus, but the coach either isnt interested in such a gamestyle or finds a flaw in Gianniotas and he doesnt even sub him.

Pjanic Dzeko Kolasinac definately would. Besic has not played in Everton so I am not aware if he contributes more than a middle table italian team's midfielder in Tachtsidis , Kyriakos Papadopoulos(can play DM as well) or Samaris. Begovic I dont think so. Karnezis might only play for Udineze but hes been voted their best player for 2 or 3 seasons in a row. That for a Goalkeeper probably means something. Of course Begovic has had better contracts in heis career with bigger teams but oh well, Gollie can't do much without a decent defence.

I didnt say anywhere theri team is GSL level. Their midfielders apart from pjanic are no namers. Cimirot being a very good player for GSL doesnt delete the fact that he has been playing here for 2-3 seasons, and starter in Europe and had good games vs ajac as well, and so far no bigger team has shown any interest. Kolasinac, Dzeko, Ibisevic, Pjanic, Lulic would all be starters for Greece, but therest of their team is mediocre. That was my statement and I believeeven the Bosnian here is agreeing with me. Also , the fact that our b-c choice midfielders will be starters, doesnt erase the fact that their midfielders apart from Pjanic are nothing spectacular. Honestly if Pjanic misses the game this is a big wow for us because their other midfielders are superleague tier. I remember Bosnians begging for Cimirot, a currently sub for PAOK to start in the midfield. I watched cimirot in like 10 games in total? I still don't understand what's so special about him other than his intensivity when trying to take a ball back. Their defence is bad to mediocre at best , with Kolasinac out. Their midfield is mediocre with Pjanic out. Their Strikers are good, but what can they do on their own. Please, Juve, don't let Pjanic go for precausions :D!

their defence is very bad. if we managed to score to belgium on paper this should be a piece of cake. I believe the mentality in the match vs Bosnia in Athens wasn't the same as right now. Currently the team chemistry is top peak, and the previous 2 draws vs better (on paper/ranking) opponents should be something to boost our confidence.
