Samaris is playing very decently literally a whole new Samaris, much better than were used to seeing him with the NT. Probably some playing time in Benfica top level in Portugese Derbies and Champions League gave him confidence/form.

welcome. 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 or even 4-5-1 are the same thing depending on player movements and opponent possession/dominance. you will see wingers go behind fullbacks to grab the ball when the opponent team pressure is way too high. the only problem greece has is no wing material. can't find any stable player who can run with open ball etc, so possession is something we will find hard at. it's much easier to cut attacks that go from the middle.
