  3. Expect a lot of rumors for young players from Spanish lower division teams now that the ex-Real Madrid scouter has joined PAOK.
  4. We are very close to announcing Pavlenka for 2 years at 600K per year. Also, the offer to Taylor is for 3-year contract at 800K per year. If the player agrees, he could be announced early next week. Another rumor is that we offered Taison a contract for 500K with reduced playing time as compared to previous seasons.
  5. You are talking about our no. 1 keeper for the next season ...
  6. And we now have a rumor with the name of the left back that we are allegedly after: Greg Taylor (Celtic Glasgow)
  7. Here is the current situation in the Europa League Qualifying Round 3, where PAOK will start the 2025-2026 European season. Only confirmed teams are listed. EUROPA LEAGUE - QUALIFYING ROUND 3 (August 7/August 14) Seeded Teams PAOK Thessaloniki 42.250 Unseeded Teams (possible opponents for PAOK) Wolfsberger AC (AUT) 9.500 Fredrikstad FK (NOR) 7.937 ------------------------------------------------------------------ If we qualify: EUROPA LEAGUE - PLAYOFF ROUND (August 21/August 28) Seeded Teams PAOK Thessaloniki 42.250 Unseeded Teams (possible opponents for PAOK) Racing Genk (BEL) 11.370 FC Aberdeen (SCO) 9.500 Sigma Olomouc (CZE) 8.820
  8. Now that the coaching situation has been resolved (if there ever was one), let the rumors resume: - Tanzanian press is reporting that Samatta is negotiating with PAOK for a new contract - Despodov claiming that he has 2 years left in his contract, but anything can change in 24 hours - Otto is pretty much history - we are close to sign a left back as a Baba backup - Galatasaray is after Kotarski, but have not talked to PAOK about it yet.
  9. The game will be streamed live on the Novasports Youtube Channel.
  10. On Saturday at 17:00 EEST the U19 team plays Olympiakos in the final of the U19 Superleague Cup. The game will be played in Iraklio, Crete.
  11. I was listening to some of the "sources" on radio today, and they are now claiming that the first meeting went very well and they were in agreement on the plans for next season. Apparently the big shouting match happened last Thursday during the second meeting, where Lucescu was criticized by Savvidis concerning the dismal results of last season. They claim that Lucescu was offended and all talks were frozen and the team is in a waiting mode until the coaching issue is resolved. At the end the same "sources" predict that Lucescu's fate is 50/50, so at the end they can claim that either way they predicted the outcome.
  12. And none of these articles contain any actual information on what is going on. It's all speculation and guesses and that's what makes the PAOK World turn around every Summer.
  13. Which basically means that we need to win two qualifying rounds to reach the League Phase of Europa League, or win one qualifying round to reach the League Phase of Conference League.
  14. The PAOK ladies finish the season with a 1:0 win against Kastoria. The team finished in 5th place with 12 wins, 7 ties and 3 losses. Hopefully next season will be better.
  15. Tomorrow is the day which will decide when the team starts the pre-season training. If OFI wins the cup the team will travel to Holland on June 30. If Olympiakos wins (hopefully) than the team leaves for Holland on July 14.
  16. I found out that the buyout is at 1 mil Euro. If I was PAOK I would try to knock it down as much as possible, but if Benfica does not cooperate, just loan him again and he should be free after June 2026. However this needs to be done quickly. If it drags out, forget about him and look somewhere else.
  17. Don't really think Lucescu's absence is what cost us 2nd place. Two ties in home games with OFI and Kallithea would have been enough for 2nd place. Instead we lost both games. The other issue was not winning any derbies in the regular season.
  18. Vieirinha (retired) Taison ( I would keep him, but explain to him that his playing time will be limited) Schwab (I think it's time to thank him for his services) Ozdoev (keep him, but apparently he is looking for his last good contract which we might not offer) Meite (would like to sign him at a decent price. If he decides to drag his feet like in the past, just forget it.) Colley (gone) Otto (try to change his mind and keep him. All depends on what offers he gets from Spain) Samatta (gone) Bakayoko (gone) Wieteska (not at the current asking price) Thomas (thank you for your services, good luck at you next team) Pavlenka (keep him, and if Kotarski leaves make him no. 1) Balomenos (sadly no chance to get any playing time, loan him out) I think we also need to make some decisions on these players: Gomez (contract expires June 2026) - loan him Lovren (June 2026) - release him from his contract Thymianis (June 2027) - loan him Pena (June 2028) - give him a chance or loan him Soares (June 2026) - another loan or release him from contract Murg (June 2026) - release him from his contract Tissoudali (June 2026) - give him a chance if Lucescu is not the coach, otherwise loan Quagliata (june 2026) - don't believe he is still being paid by PAOK Ricardo (June 2026) - end his contract, otherwise loan again Lyratzis (June 2026) - release him from the contract
  19. Thank you Captain.
  20. Final score 1:0. Hate to say it, but good luck Olympiakos.
  21. Vieirinha in for Pelkas. Big save by Kotarski.
