Realistically we stand no chance of cracking the top 12 in the next 3 seasons in my opinion. 2016-17 is in progress and we finished in 13th place. 2017-18 is already set and we finished in 14th place. 2018-19 we are in 14th place with 22.300 points. 12th place Czech Republic has 27.675 2019-20 we are in 14th place with 17.900 points, approximately 1.3 points behind the 12th place.

Steaua owner through Romanian media claims that he sold Varela to PAOK for 1 mil Euro plus one player. PAE PAOK has been quiet so far concerning the matter. In other news Pozoglou has been loaned to the Cypriot side Karmiotissa Polemidion.

Kace's agent is in Holland talking to Michel as well. I have a feeling we never got any offers for Kace. All those rumors in the press were just managers trying to drive the price. We might have gotten official offers for Mak, but I think none of them satisfied PAOK or Mak. That's why he came to training camp early in order to explore all the options open to them/him.

Good result! Hope this will bring the team down to earth and show the coach, players and the fans that there is still a lot of work to be done. The main thing is to be ready on July 30 for the first game for the CL qualifying.

Paul Koutsioliakos is in Arnheim talking with Michel. Apparently they are discussing the future of Tzavellas at PAOK. Hopefully he has an offer from another team for him. He also manages Tziolis, Koulouris and Konstantinidis. I am surprised PAOK still talks to that guy after the backstabbing he did with Fortounis last season.

Counting Mak and Kace we have a roster of 33 players in the training camp right now. Obviously this will be cut down to 27-28 players, which means 5 to 6 players will be cut right before the first CL qualifying game. I believe we are done making transfers right now. At least until the CL qualifying games are completed. What players will be cut?

Konstantinidis today took part in full practice for the first time. Sakhov was seen by a specialist today and has been given the green light to return to practices. Diego has been put on a special training regiment in order to drop few pounds according to a report I heard on Metropolis today.

Sofia Bekatourou will be the flag bearer for the opening ceremonies for the Greek Olympic team.

The basketball team failed to qualify to the Rio Olympics losing to Croatia in the semifinal game of the qualifying tournament. It's pretty much safe to assume that Greek basketball national team is no longer considered to be part of the elite of European/World basketball as far as national teams are concerned.

Apparently we will play a friendly game against Bragga in Thessaloniki. Proceeds will go for humanitarian help for the refugees.

Tzavellas did not renew his contract, but he will, since he is a close buddy with the owners son. I expect a new 3-year deal. Tziolis's contract was automatically renewed for one more season until 2017. Skondras is gone, and would not be surprise me if Glykos is gone as well. If not now than in the winter.

I think that Melissis will be loaned out and the 16-year old Siabanis will go back to U-20 team. We'll go with the Serboian as our no. 1 goalie with Glykos and Vellidis backups. Down the road (perhaps in the Janury 2017) one of them will ask to be released from contract. I hope it's Glykos.

It's official. Zeljko Brkic, the 29-year old Serbian keeper signed a 3-year deal with PAOK. He will report to Holland tomorrow to start pre-season training. We now have 5 keepers on the roster. Something has to give. Who do you think will go?

They are not exactly the same type of players. Canas plays the no. 6 position (DM), and will share this position with Tziolis. Those 2 most likely will never play together. The others (Cimirot, Charisis, Kace, Sakhov) are "oktaria" and will most likely be paired with either Tziolis or Canas in the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Well only 3 of them played, and two of them were defense men.
