  1. I don't think our schedule is as tough as PAO's. Your next three SL games are against AEK, Panionios, and PAOK, If you drop points in those game you will need to make concerted effort to secure a playoff spot. In our case, if we beat Larisa in our next game (which we should easily), we are pretty much securely in the playoffs and then we can concentrate on the cup. I think it's 50-50 as far as who will progress. It will depend on who performs better in the two games. The result of the first game at Leoforo will be important. I also think whoever wins this semifinal tie will also win the cup, specially if Olympiakos will be in the final.
  2. The game was played at Toumba of all places. On Saturday U21 plays in Poland.
  3. We play them for SL on April 9 at home and then away for the cup 3 or 4 days later. We will need to be very careful as they are a sneaky team. Notice that they already chose to sit out some of their starters (Berg among them) in our SL game. They will have rested players for the first cup game. Our goal in the first game should be not to lose and if possible score. Then come to Toumba and take care of the qualification. The other good thing is that they have a tough schedule until then (AEK, Panionios). it will be a tough semifinal, but if we play like we can, our chances are fairly good to progress.
  4. Glykos is good enough for the NT considering what the other options are. The issue is that he is not good enough to be a starter for PAOK.
  5. RIP Chuck Berry and James Cotton. Both pioneers, Berry in rock & roll and Cotton in blues. Loved both their music throughout the years.

  7. pelkas got a red card for grabbing his genitals
  8. That was our best chance to score.
  9. And now Pelkas coming. All out attack for the win by Ivic.
  10. Looks like we are going for a 0:0 tie. Whoever scores wins the game.
  11. Probably the most reliable radio stream: http://www.e-radio.gr/Metropolis-955-Thessaloniki-i110/live
  12. Shakhov nice scossor kick barely out.
  13. Nice try by Henrique. Need to more of that. Our crosses from left and right are not working.
  14. PAE PAOK should never allow that. Of all the people it's Vryzas, who is in charge of the Greek Cup at EPO, came up with this dumb idea.
  15. Warda might be out for two weeks. At least there is a NT break in between. Also, Ivic is apparently thinking of starting Brkic in place of Glykos.
  16. All the answers are here:
  17. I don't think Mystakidis would be as effective in center, and definitively not as a lone CF. Perhaps as a second forward in a 4-4-2 formation, or as Boston pointed out in another thread, why not go with a 4-3-3 formation: Henrique and Mysta on the wings? It will be an interesting match. Reports are that Panionios might be missing their two CB's, but their midfield is very strong with Siopis and Korbos.
  18. Well it involves a lot of work. Need to go back cool down certain balls to appropriate temperature. Too much hassle and it was almost lunch time. The easiest thing was to redo the whole thing next week.
  19. Draw for the semifinal is tomorrow at 11:30 EET. We have a 33.33% chance to be drawn against AEK Panathinaikos Olympiakos
  20. It now became an interesting game. Olympiakos scored to make it 2:1 and then Abubacar got ejected from the game.
  21. I am pretty sure Ivic will not shuffle the lineup too much due to the Prijovic injury. I expect him to field somethin like this: ------------------ Glykos ----------------- Matos -- Varela -- Crespo -- Leovac ------- Cimirot ------------ Canas ------ Mystakidis --- Biseswar --- Henrique ----------------- Klaus ----------------
