  1. I am pretty sure Ivic will not shuffle the lineup too much due to the Prijovic injury. I expect him to field somethin like this: ------------------ Glykos ----------------- Matos -- Varela -- Crespo -- Leovac ------- Cimirot ------------ Canas ------ Mystakidis --- Biseswar --- Henrique ----------------- Klaus ----------------
  2. Besiktas all over Olympiakos, leading 2:0 in the 22nd minute of the game.
  3. So we have Glykos being called up for the game with Belgium. He actually stands a good chance of starting in the game. Also, Cimirot was called by Bosnia for their Euro game against Gibraltar. Additionaly, Koulouris, Deligiannidis and Lambrou have been called up for the two U21 friendlies against Hungary (at Toumba on March 22), and Poland on March 25. Finally Sibanis was called up for the U19 NT for the Euro Elite qualifying tournament in Holland, where we will play Ukraine, Finland and Holland.
  4. What did you expect Yianko? Some professional production? They are just fans promoting the team they follow. I find nothing wrong with it, and actually like the idea of keeping the PAOK idea alive outside of Greece.
  5. Knowing Ivic, I am sure he will go with either Klaus or Koulouris options. I would like him to be more adventurous and try different things considering those two failed this season. How about switching to 4-4-2 with Henrique and Pelkas (or Warda) up front.
  6. When the deal was made, PAOK received 1 mil, and the remaining 2.5 was set for two installment payments. Apparently Galatasaray missed paying the next installment. From what I read, PAOK told Gala if they don't pay until end of March, they will take the issue to UEFA/FIFA.
  7. The injury to Prijovic gives another chance to Klaus to turn things around. Let's see what he does with it.
  8. He had a shoulder problem, but I don't think it was the same injury. He actually broke a bone this time requiring a metal plate and screws being installed from what I read.
  9. Alexis Alexandris, the former Olympiakos striker during interview yesterday said he would try to win at any cost, including stealing from his own kid if necessary. Here are some of his more famous dives resulting in penalty kicks:
  10. Footage from today's practice, which also includes the injury to Prijovic. Around the 2:30 minute mark.
  11. I am glad he did not get called. He can concentrate on his duties at PAOK, where he will be needed now that we are down one forward. As long as the players that are called in are not based on their current form, but are based on who their agent is, I prefer PAOK players are not called for the NT. Tell me a reason why Tziolis, Maniatis, and the two youngster from Olympiakos got called, when there are couple players on Panionios that are in great form and were not called up.
  12. I am pretty sure that he will miss the rest of the season. It takes 6 weeks just to heal. During that time he can't take part in any physical exercise. This means that after the 6 months he will be completely out of playing shape. It might take few weeks to get in shape. By that time the season will be over. I think it might be better to have the injury completely heal and be ready for the upcoming season.
  13. I am afraid things in business world don't work this way. I am pretty sure we do the same when we buy players from other teams. We don't pay the full amount up front. In the end we will get our money, and possibly get Gala in a lot of trouble as far as European competitions is concerned in the process.
  14. Prijovic injured during practice today. Possibly out for the rest of the season.
  15. Wonder if Lambrou will get a playing time for Panionios.
  16. Just another proof that some soccer players are not the smartest cookies in the jar.
  17. Kinda doubt it.
  18. Campos out for 15 days after his injury in yesterday's game.

  21. I too believe that Ivic messed up with the lineup he fielded. We needed Canas in the line up. In case he was not ready, than Kace should have started in his place. We missed an "6ri" in this game. Cimirot and Shakhov are not that type of player. Speaking of Cimirot, I think he needs to sit out few games. He was poor yesterday. The first goal happened because of his mistake. Need to put this game behind us and concentrate on Panionios. We can't lose points in that game. If we lose we might end up in a fight for the playoffs.
  22. Could have tied it twice in injury time. We need to play better in 2nd half to have chance.
  23. Poor game by PAOK. Could have easily be down 3:0 by now. And our players are falling down like flies.
  24. Reports are that Canas will start on the bench. I would have him as a starter. My ideal lineup for this game: ---------------- Glykos ---------------- Matos - Varela - Crespo - Leovac ------ Cimirot ------- Canas -------- Campos ---- Warda ---- Henrique --------------- Prijovic ---------------- The only changes I would make is Mysta for Campos, but every time Mysta starts he is not as good as when he is subbed in. Going with Warda instead of Biseswar. Biseswar seems to disappear against bigger an tougher teams.
