  1. All the jerseys that PAOK wore through out the history:
  2. Considering the designs have been done by casual fans, some of them are not so bad..
  3. Thanks for the link. I just hope we don't self destruct like we did in the two previous games with Olympiakos this season.
  4. Tomorrow, EPO will hear two appeals concerning PAOK. PAOK has filed an appeal concerning the punishment for the Olympiakos cup game. The hope is that the 5 point deduction becomes only 3 points. Considering that for similar fan violence, Panathinaikos and AEK received only 3 points deduction. There is a chance that the initial 5 point deduction is cut to 3 points. The second appeal was filed by an EPO prosecutor against the original EPO decision to give PAOK 2 game ban for flares being lit in the PAOK cup games against Kalloni and Panionios. Since no other team was punished for the same issue this season, the prosecutor found it necessary to re-visit this decision. There is a good chance that the 2 game ban will be overturned. We should know the results of these appeals no later than this coming Friday.
  5. Here is the full text of the FIFA letter to EPO and Kontoni: http://www.epo.gr/media/files/FIFA_UEFA/FIFA_letter_ENG_5-4-2016.pdf
  6. Sure he does, but the fact that nobody has heard from him since 1996 strikes me quite strange. There are more qualified past PAOK presidents that sport-fm could have asked their opinion concerning the matter, but I guess they would not like their answers that they would like to propagate.
  7. Where did they find this guy? Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. He should stick to running his day camps for kids.
  8. Mak, Cimirot and Chatziisaias will be available for this game.
  9. PAE PAOK has a poll on their web site to chose a t-shirt design commemorating the 90 years of PAOK. There are 10 designs to chose from. You can cast your vote here: http://www.paokfc.gr/nea/20160404-psifise-to-kalutero-sxedio-tou-design-your-paok-90-years-t-shirt-poll/ I voted for # 7
  10. Tzavellas should not be playing as CB. He should be playing LB, which is his position. Instead Malezas loses his spot in the lineup. The CB spot should be reserved for Vitor, Chatziisaias and Malezas. Tzavellas should be sharing his position with Leovac.
  11. AEK and Atromitos both received a 3 point deduction from the standing along with fan ban and monetary fines for the crowd trouble during their game, which also included a stabbing among other things. I guess if you try to kill someone, you also get a two point discount.
  12. the lack of an experienced player that would step in and take the team on his shoulders is quite evident this season. There is no one that would take this leadership role. You would think Klaus would be one of those guys, but he is more interested in getting a new tattoo and party with his girlfriend in some Athens night club.

  14. Situation did not get any clearer following Round 28: STANDINGS AFTER ROUND 28 4. Panionios - 44 5. PAOK - 39 (assuming -5 point deduction) ----------------------- 6. Platanias 38 7. Tripoli 37 8. PAS Giannina 36 ROUND 29 PAOK - Levadeiakos AEK - Panionios PAS Giannina - Platanias Tripoli - Panathinaikos ROUND 30 Xanthi - PAS Giannina Platanias - PAOK Panionios - Atromitos Tripoli - Veroia If the playoff started today, the initial standings would be: 1. AEK 2 (assuming PAOK -5 and AEK -3 point deductions) 2. PAO 2 3. Panionios 1 4. PAOK 0
  15. It's called an appeal process. Anyway, we had a poor first half. I think we played much better in the second half, where Panionios with three chances scored twice. I think all these injuries took quite a toll on the team. It was quite evident in today's game. It was a good game with two teams evenly matched. The luckier team won today.
  16. Most likely lineup for Sunday: ------------------- Vellidis ------------------ Kitsiou -- Vitor -- Tzavellas -- Leovac ---- Kace------ Tziolis ---- Charisis ---- --- Pellkas ---- Klaus ---- Korovesis ---
  17. Good post teke. If you think that the situation in Superleague is bad, the problems in the lower divisions are even worse. In the Football League, which is also a professional league, two teams did not finish the season this year, and some teams don't have money to pay the referees as they are supposed to do. God only knows what's going on in the amateur leagues. EPO needs to be restructured from the ground up.
  18. The game of "chicken" between EPO/Marinakis and the Undersecretary of Sports Stavros Kontonis continues. Yesterday a meeting between Kontonis, EPO and UEFA/FIFA was held in Athens, which did not produce any results. FIFA's representative at the meeting was the head of the Cypriot FA. Of interest is the fact a relative of his is involved in the 2011 Koriopolis scandal. Go figure. EPO/marinakis sticks to it's position, that government is meddling in their affairs by cancelling the cup, and that's why they involved FIFA in the matter and took the matter to the supreme court. They refuse to engage in any negotiations with the government to resolve the issue. FIFA says if the cup does not resume, Greece faces punishment by the international federation, but refuses to even listen to the charges of corruption in Greek soccer. Kontonis says that the cup will resume as long as people that have been charged with criminal wrongdoing resign from their posts. The government also refuses to back down from cancelling the cup competition. In other words each side is playing their game. Let's see if and when somebody backs down. The next milestone is the decision by the supreme court considering EPO's request to make the governments decision unlawful. The decision should be made next week. In the meantime the Greek press is now in a Grexit hysteria phase, even though FIFA did not mention what the punishment might be.
  19. Chatziisaias is taking part in full practices and might be available for Sunday's game.
