  1. It seems to me that most of our players won't see any time at all until we play cup matches. For shits and giggles, and to see how many players we don't actually play: --Glykos-- --Skondras--Malezas--Tzavellas-- --Cimirot--Charisis--Savvidis--Korovesis-- --Mistakidis--Golasa-- --Jairo-- Kitsiou is expected back the 27th (and Antonis the 25th), so I'm guessing we won't see him at all.
  2. Press conference below. Interesting that Bulgarian reporters are starting to show up. Tudor says he's very pleased with how it went (although a different interview with Berbatov reflects how the rest of us feel)
  3. Atrocious. How can Sabo still be getting minutes? He's absolutely tragic.
  4. Click on your username at the top-right of the page, and then select "Manage Ignore Prefs"
  5. It's a reasonable expectation, if that's what the leadership of the club cares about. Might not be the case now.
  6. Man, I love Tudor press conferences. He answers so many questions. I just finished watching this one, so I'll pick out what I thought were the most interesting points. Most of this was said by Blackhawk already. He does confirm Berbatov will be on the bench (at least at the beginning), and that Klaus, Skondras, Jairo, and Malezas will start. Leovac will not start. I liked how someone asked him point-blank about his depressing attitude, since he spends a lot of time talking down his own team. He's asked about how we've given up a lot of goals due to unmarked opposing places on set pieces...he suggests that he needs to rethink how they're defending, as "it's a question of the quality of concentration on a few defensive players." About Sabo: He's been better in the last few matches but still loses the ball too often. He can only get better (with time). Sounds like we'll keep seeing him. About Olsen: Glykos will become first goalkeeper. Olsen has cost the team too much, needs to work hard. He looks VERY annoyed.
  7. If you never play the other guys, you'll never get to the point where you trust them. Tudor's insistence on "14-16" players isn't as reasonable when we have an extra dozen who have never gotten a chance, and where a handful of those who do play, clearly shouldn't. We should be fine with a small number of changes. Something like the below, will still know the system and serve to bleed in players who need more time with the team. If we need more attacking threat (or if Pelkas is once again a disappointment), put in Mistakidis - the guy's shown he deserves to be out there; why isn't he getting more time? Same thing if Mak or Klaus don't turn up - Jairo's nearly as fast as Mak, and can play up front as well. -Glykos-- --Vitor--Costa--Malezas-- --Rodrigues--Golasa--Kace--Leovac-- --Pelkas--Mak-- --Klaus--
  8. The Czechs and Turks are (obviously) still the two countries ahead of us. Both have three teams left in competitions, same as us. Upcoming games: Turkey: Galatasaray vs Benfica (CL) - 10/21 Lokomotiv Moscow vs Besiktas (EL) - 10/22 Fenerbahce vs Ajax (EL) - 10/22 Czech Republic: Schalke vs Sparta Prague (EL) - 10/22 Liberec vs FC Groningen (EL) - 10/22 Rapid Wien vs Viktoria Plzen (EL) - 10/22 On the plus side, they should lose most of these.
  9. If Glykos had been getting game time, I would feel more confident. Glad Malezas is there. Sabo is absolutely tragic, we have so many more options available there...
  10. At least this means we'll be able to pay off some of the many fines we'll receive.
  11. Tudor's insistence on the same players when there are so many options on the bench is getting a bit ridiculous. Especially in him playing Sabo. Put Golasa or Savvidis in there, for Christ's sake.
  12. I'm sure Olsen will start, this team seems absolutely dead set on getting their money's worth out of him. --Olsen-- --Vitor--Costa--Malezas-- --Rodrigues--Tziolis--Kace--Leovac-- --Pelkas--Mak-- --Klaus--
  13. A huge game for us, and a must-win. Our team has been pretty shaky this month, I'd like to see them come out with guns blazing.
  14. Another day, another win. Beating the Colts is especially sweat. What a block by Collins!
  15. Perhaps that 15 year old we've got on the bench.
  16. Golasa coming in for the third change? Hopefully for Sabo. I like that Tudor is still going for goals here.
  17. Near goal by Rodrigues just now, god damn that was close
