Goal Shakhov! First one!

Rodrigues's deflection very nearly netted another goal for us. Their goalie has a lot of trouble defending against people standing in front of him. Blackhawk, any idea how much we're paying these guys for this target practice?

That's goal three, this time Korovesis

That's goal # 2, PEREYRA

Was that a goal in the 1st minute? Hard to tell from the angle. -edit- YUP

Here's our lineup. Is this game going to be on the youtube page? Hopefully. Formation: This is a great lineup, very attacking. Pereyra's old #10 went to Jalma I believe, so he's taking Salpi's #14. Hopefully he wears it well. Reports about him in this preseason have been good.

Popovic was released from his contract and is on his way to sign with Mannheim. Not sure which team; both are in the lower leagues. Good luck to him.

I'm reading that Tziolis/Tzavellas/Konstantinidis/the Dutch guy/Campos won't play in this match

Seems Ivic has been using 4-3-3s and 4-4-2s. With players in their normal positions. Holy s%$#!. Now that is groundbreaking.

Seems our first match, vs Gibraltar, will be held in a neutral venue (Portugal). One of the 2004 stadiums. I change my mind, now I think we can beat them. Fierce.

Razvan Rat is apparently IN THESSALONIKI. Sounds like a return really is in the cards.

Any guesses as to who the international is? http://www.sdna.gr/podosfairo/article/218731/emplekoyn-diethni-ellina-podosfairisti-se-kseplyma-xrimatos

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, AMORGIGGLES? Do we really need a 200th post from Pana saying why?

So apparently Mak hasn't been able to find a club willing to pay him a million. My guess is we're also not willing to do that, but if we were to offer him something like...750k, perhaps he'd make a quicker decision. inPAOK seems to think that he'll re-sign this summer with us if he's unsuccessful. I VERY MUCH hope that we keep him.

For that price, I'm assuming he's even more highly rated than Cimirot?

So our new boy's a bit of a tubby. Hopefully they put him on a diet of jogging, running, and then some more jogging. After Berbatov and Tziolis, I'm allergic to slow players. http://www.sdna.gr/podosfairo/superleague/article/217965/me-ton-mpisesvar-o-paok-vrike-enan-neo-igeti

Which is not to say I wouldn't rather the wolf in this case.

FIFA watching over Greek soccer is like replacing a fox with a wolf.

I figured that if we did sell him, we'd try to do what we did with Lucas and keep him until qualification (one way or another). Of course, if any potential buyers are also in European competition, this would bode poorly for his availability to us.

Charisis, being a solid player, deserves the #8 I'd say. I hope that bodes well for his playing time this season.

Golasa's gone - the club's statement doesn't mention that he was sold, rather that the contract was terminated. A shame we didn't get a few Euros out of this. http://inpaok.com/310520

That is not the custom of his people, you racist

All the more reason to play Karelis up there. I can't believe he's not being included on more lineups. He's the only striker we have who's actually...you know...struck.

Not only is Biseswar at the office, he was walking around Toumba as well.
