I hadn't heard that, interesting. In other news, Savvidis has signed with Panionios (PAOK retains rights to 30% of his resale value), for two years. I believe they got him for free. Varela is no longer training due to what seems to be a somewhat serious injury (out for at least a month?). I can't see us continuing to pursue him now.

How good is this new guy?

Shakhov hurt his foot, did not train today. Now I know he's PAOK.

Iraklis is a team that would set off a lot of warning lights for me...

Someone's gotta give, as blackhawk said. We'll see who. There are more transfer rumors of a second Romanian guy that we're after. Personally, I don't think we're as desperate in that position as others think. Klaus/Koulouris to start, and Pereyra/Mistakidis/Jairo all can theoretically play there. More than theoretically for Pereyra in fact, since Anastasiadis had played him as CF for like half of that season. We def need another CB though. A good one. Care to elaborate? Is this just to keep pressure on those-who-would-think-themselves-shoo-ins?

^ and I'll add to that, this:

Absolutely too many. They must be planning on selling at least Kace. Can't see them getting rid of Cimirot at this point, and Charisis being given the new jersey number is a clear sign of Ivic's plans for him. Hopefully Tziolis is who makes way. Don't forget that there are a handful of K20 kids practicing with the squad who will play in those positions, too. In other news, Varela's club's TD is claiming a Qatari team is offering close to what he's asking (which the player himself is saying is BS). Sounds like they're trying to drive up the price. I say we look elsewhere.

Seems to be close. Agreement with the player on a 3-year contract. 300k + a percentage of resale to Espanyol.

Rumors that we're trying to sign Jose Canas, from Espanyol. Plays DM, seems to not have scored since 2009.

The thing about the closest gyradiko to my apartment, is that they do almost no business on Saturdays and are slow as s%$#! to boot. Last time I was like 20 minutes late to the game and had old meat to boot. Ugh life is so hard. -edit- I like how I wrote "to boot" twice. Pfft. Settle down m#$%!

This next game should be a much better test. Will give me something delightful to look forward to Saturday afternoon. Which is really all that matters.

Another goal for Klaus, makes it 14

Another goal for Dimitriadis, after being set up by Klaus

Goal for the li'l guy Dimitriadis Very unselfish play by Jairo, who got the assist

Every time Jairo falls down I'm so sure he's about to sit out for half a season

Klaus scores a second as well

Second goal for Pelkas, that's 10-0

So far, liking the play of the first half team much more

Pelkas and Klaus for goals 8 and 9

Another for Koulouris, Ivic just as displeased

Hahaha and Ivic looks so pissed

6-0, that's a hat trick for Pereyra

Another for Pereyra, makes it 5-0

Doesn't surprise me at all that PAO would struggle. Ivic is going to have some hard choices to make as far as starting players. Lots of potential here.

Goal Shakhov! First one!
