  1. He's on form and with Haristeas and Papadopoulos injured he deserves a decent appearance agaisnt France.
  2. There is a political forum for the Cyprus issue. Please keep politics out of this forum. - The Moderator
  3. I think it was Corraddi that fot the flick on dude.
  4. Enjoy the talent manges:http://www.goal4replay.net/GoalWatch.asp?ID=478 http://www.goal4replay.net/GoalWatch.asp?ID=479
  5. As you know, I too am in disagreement with the way Otto has handled certain things but with the Samaras saga he's been spot on! He should earn his way back, and it appears to be working.
  6. I told you guys, being dropped by both club and country has given him the necessary kick up the arse!
  7. I have to say that its absolutely disgraceful that this wasnt even reported on, on the Greek news (Ert). He's Greek for crying out loud! The Turks are promoting the illegal state of Northern Cyprus every chance they get to the world. Even at the Grand Prix you guys saw what happened, and dont even accept our greatest athlete, why? Because he's not Greek but Greek-Cypriot?! Its a disgrace!!
  8. I really hope you're right re file, but Pearce is a huge fan of Samaras and even he has dropped him. I just dont think he's cut out for the physicallity and work ethic of the Prem. I really hope he proves me wrong. Do you know if he'll be back in the Greece squad for the game against Norway?
  9. Well not exactly! Samaras scored a tap in after the ball rebounded off the post... I'm not criticising him for that, its his job to be in the right place, but Man City did lose 2-1 to Chesterfield!!! Shouldnt an international striker offered abit more than a tap in? He's soooo lazy, and when Pearce is sacked this year Samara will be on his way out!!!
  10. He scored against Chesterfield in the Cup! 0-1 to Man City on 40 mins.
  11. Well as you say, since he's been coming off the bench in the last 2 games he's been at his most effective for a long time so maybe its working! Imagine how good he'll be if he puts in the effort that players like Salpi and Pap put in... He'd be lethal!
  12. Ok fair enough that could work, but no Amanatidi? Samaras is immensley talented but he's lazy. And we arent good enough to have a player that just disappears. We cant afford to have that. :( He has to pull his socks up! I'm glad he's been dropped by Otto and Pearce it might give him the kick up the arse he needs!
  13. Ela re file... amazing... he made a diff but dont get carried away! He should not be starting for Greece. Lybe and Salpi should

  15. The clay isnt such a big weakness, he isnt bad on it! He grew up playing on it, his hated surface is Grass!! He had a poor Roland Garros but he can cause damage on that surface. He'll be top 5 before long and in 3 years he'll be pushing Federer, mark my words. :nw: :gr: :nw: :gr: :nw:
  16. MARCOS OLE, OLE, OLE!!! Marcos Baghdatis won his first career title in Beijing by destroying Mario Ancic 6-4, 6-0!!! BRAVO MARCO MOU!!! :nw: :gr: :nw: :gr: :nw: :gr: :nw:
  17. Marcos Baghdatis, world number 9, is the the final of the Beijing ATP tournament where he will face Mario Ancic, the world number 10. Ancic is a big server and he's beaten Marco on all of their three previous meeting. I predict a Baghdati victory though this time around.
  18. To put Turkey above France is ridiculous! Just once try to get your dark glasses about Turkiye out and see the reality.. Just once!! <_< <_< <_< <_<
  19. I personally haven't seen anyone do what Diamantidis does as well as him. He really lives up to the nickname 'Octopus' he has his hands in everything!
  20. POUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! :gr: :nw: :gr: :nw: :gr: :nw: :gr: :nw: :gr:
  21. I've only managed to see the games after they were live so already knew the scores :( But its still been wondefully entertaining. I honestly think we can go all the way with a bit of luck. Having said that, as much as I enjoy bball living in England I dont see much so I won't even pretend to pass myself off as an expert. For those experts out there can you please let me know if we can win it?
  22. Ah but no one remembers who finished 3rd in the W/C whereas EU champs go down in history. Also, Greece beat France, Portugal twice the Czechs, and disposed of Spain. Whereas Turkey beat Senegal, Japan, Korea... and lost to the only good team they played, TWICE! As for the bball, Turkey isn't a bad side, but are certainly inferior to Hellas!
  23. The owners aren't fanatics. At this one place in particular they get moody when fans are shouting, lol. Obviously didnt see the game, but a win against Lithuania is a major boost
