So much more satisfying that goal difference is the first tie breaker. Never thought I’d be saying that for a low scoring team historically like us but I’m cautiously optimistic. BRING THE HEAT BOYS. THE 11 YEAR TOURNAMENT DROUGHT ENDS WITH THIS CAMPAIGN. PAME PALIKARIA5 points

The minute there’s a little hype around this team and they start pulling in crowds they lay a massive egg in big games. They did it with the game against England here, they did it against Georgia and now Denmark.4 points

It goes without saying, this game will be far tougher than the one against Belarus. The Danes who have been mainstays at major tournaments for the last 7 or so years, have been able to build that solid record of qualification on a strong defence. They have been typically tough to break down and have had plenty of results by keeping a clean sheet. So it will be the first real test for our young guns and all their attacking flair. I expect Denmark will look to keep it tight and allow us to have the bulk of possession. Our attack has been blowing teams away, so an early goal and who knows. But I would anticipate a cat and mouse game. I don't expect Jovanovic to make any changes to the starting 11 that we saw today. Even though plenty (myself included) wanted to see Konstantelias instead of Bakasetas, you can't deny Bakasetas has performed time and time again for the Ethniki. He had another good game against the Belarusians, so I don't think he will be dropped for this one.4 points

Looking at a Scottish forum. They clearly think we are the best team in the group. Hopefully we make their words come true…4 points

This is how a big football nation that is serious starts their campaign against lesser nations. So far so good pame! Karetsas 3rd minute goal lol. What a start..4 points

A win here & a tie in the Denmark - Scotland game would be huge4 points

Let's pump the break on all this negative talk. Konstantelias is uber talented, that is why PAOK is getting offer of $20M plus. We had not faced a team that was patient like Denmark and could counter like that. I am sure Jovanovic will see what we did wrong and fix it. We are a young team, these things take time..3 points

This was a good lesson. We went away from what got us here. We beat England in Wembley and can't beat Denmark at home? Taking Karetsas out was the wrong move. Kourbelis should not start going forward.3 points

What a game!! We look good!! When was the last time we could actually score goals like this…ever??? Remember when we had Santos, we had a good team but every game was 1-0…3 points

Our only chance now is getting 2nd as the chance at first is done. What looked to be a dream start by winning and having Scotland and Denmark draw, now looks to be a bad result for us. Would have been better if Denmark beat Scotland. To have at chance at 2nd and a playoff we need to beat Scotland twice and hope for at least a draw in Denmark. (Tough task) I’m still excited about this young team regardless of the result tonight. It’s by far the most skilled team we’ve had and as these kids grow together they will eventually learn how to handle these big games. We need to find a way to take 2nd I can’t handle missing another tournament..2 points

Pains to say but it's true. Not sure if it's nerves or expectation but they aren't looking great in front of the home crowd, which you would think is the opposite in football. They play better in all the away match. Denmark head and shoulders better today, the game turning clearly from copping the first goal, which allowed them to sit even deeper and hit us on the counter. We went from dreaming to now hoping in a flash. It did not appear we were on Denmark's level in any aspect deeply humbling and concerning.2 points

Greece have to win out all 4 matches to win the group, unfortunately that will not happen.2 points

I get Bakasetas coming on but taking off Karetsas when we are chasing a goal? He was one of our few bright lights.2 points
-
You know you completely messed up those changes when the announcers even call you out.2 points

Big fail on the changes. You’re chasing a goal You don’t take off your most skilled players. Now, as I say this watch them score.2 points

For those of us in the states, it may be carried on Amazon Prime...2 points

Here we go. First match. On paper the easiest of all games in our group. Na boume me to dexi.2 points

One of the more interesting football accounts on twitter and instagram updated their direct qualification probabilities after yesterday's games. Before, Denmark was slightly favored to win the group. Obviously it is still early days but Monday will be potentially huge, one way or the other. This is probably the most evenly matched group (statistically) in UEFA qualifying.2 points

Dominant win for Greece, the first half was an incredible attacking display and we could have scored 6 goals. Its a shame we gave away a penalty even though it was not one. I watched the last 30 mins of the Denmark match and I was not impressed by them. They did not generate much until the last 10 minutes. Scotland had a better and clear chance to take the win. Great result for the Ethniki and I think Greece will jump all over Denmark and try and put them away early.2 points

That link is right and I used it to buy tickets when Hellas played Scotland earlier this year in Nations League. I live in Canada but obviously of Greek descent but I don't have AMKA. You don't need it for National Team games. I think they asked for passport number when purchasing the ticket on that link but that was it. I got the tickets on my smartphone and scanned them at the gate security and was in no problem.2 points

Greece need to score as many as possible vs Belarus as goal difference is the first tie breaker in World Cup qualifying. The match vs Denmark will be a tight contest even though Greece are more talented than Denmark they are a well organized side. Lets hope Greece can get the two wins here at home and also see a draw with Scotland vs Denmark. Lets GO GREECE!!2 points

I will say 4-0 win for Greece2 points

Tzimas who signed with Brighton over the summer for around 25 Million Euros, made his debut this morning in League Cup. He came off the bench in the 66nd minute and managed to score twice and grab an assist in that time as Brighton ran out comfortable 6-0 winners against Championship side Oxford United. It was the first time he had been included in the matchday squad, as he and Kostoulas had played for Brighton's Under 21 side in the first couple of weeks of this new season. It remains to be seen how often he is used in this upcoming season, it may very well be a season over development where he plays mainly in Cup competitions and off the bench. He has done his first team prospects no harm with his superb debut. His first goal is at 8.55 into the below video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C24yzJKC_4M&ab_channel=OfficialBrighton%26HoveAlbionFC2 points

Apparently they are in the match day squad for the EFL cup. Hopefully this is the start for them getting more game time for the 1st team. They’d both be useful for the national team. I’d have them both now in the team. Both have had great seasons.2 points

No surprises in the call-ups for the commencement of our World Cup Qualifying campaign. Worth noting Giannoulis was subbed off injured over the weekend in Augsburg's season opener (he also scored in that game). If the injury keeps him out of these games I would assume Kyriakopoulos, who has had a great start to the season at Panathinaikos, would be called up instead.2 points

Can I just say: if Pavlenka plays anywhere near this well going forward, we will not miss Kotarski AT ALL. Guy was man of both matches for me.2 points
