Apparently Panathinaïkos tried to get us kicked out of the hotel and playing grounds as their choice did not meet their standards and ours were/are much better. The brave Dutch declined.2 points

Caps off his brilliant 17 goal, 23 assist Championship winning season by being crowned MVP of the Belgian League. Bravo Christo, a big move is sure to come this summer.2 points

What a disappointing season. It hurts more so because of some of the big wins we scored against the likes of Lille. That was probably one of our greatest wins in club history in terms of opposition level and excitement. Reminds me of that win again I think it was Fiorentina ? At the last second to get out of the Europa league group stage. Regardless, we left trophies-less. Even worse than that in my opinion was the bad performances against some of the easier teams in the Europa table. We could have very well gotten a top 8 placing and skipped a round. It is time for a new coach. New voice needed. Yes we had injuries at important times, but if there ever was a time to spend it’s now. We as PAOK fans have been spoiled the last decade IMO in terms of trophies and European challenges so a bad year is understandable but not acceptable. I still believe that the Conference league is the single greatest thing to happen to Greek soccer in the 21st century. We are able to watch our teams go deeper in European play but also more importantly, gain ground on other leagues and build coefficient spots. Unfortunately under the previous 2 tournament format, I don’t think either us or Oly would have been able to do enough damage to pull the league back up to 2 champions league spots: bottom line is this. The future of PAOK and the Super league is arguably in the best position it has been since the early 2000s, provided we spend this summer, I am very optimistic for next year. PAME PAOKARA2 points

No they don't. The Conference League Playoffs only work if someone from the top 4 (Championship Playoffs) wins the Cup. Since that didn't happen, the Conference League spot doesn't drop to 5th place. So Aris and co are playing for nothing but pride.2 points

Once again we move at an astrnomically slow speed. These are key decisions that need to be made quickly, not a week and a half before pre-season is due to commence. There has been ample time for the club to move on Lucescu and have brought in a new manager and have been focusing on transfers and what type of player the new coach wants/needs. Instead we are here with the club seemingly scrambling late in the piece trying to figure out what the coaching staff will look like for 26-27. Poor managment and such slow decision making always sets us behind the 8 ball and it's only June. It sets us up to chase our tail for the rest of the season.1 point

Yes we are much improved, and there are in fact a number of good young players in the mix right now which is positive. Perhaps I was being overly negative in the display but in truth I was referring to a midfield player who can create and unlock defences for our strikers. Yes a maestro. Smaller nations have produced better players in this position. To get the ball to our forwards and to take the ball and calm the play down. Too often we are overrun in the midfield there is not enough presence there at the moment. Hopefully Karetsas and others can show in the coming Nations League and Euro Qualifying.1 point

I just don’t think I can agree with this. Yes Mouzakitis and played bad but between him Zaferies we have some young decent midfielders. I’m not saying great, but better than the last 10 years of midfielders. Are they Karagounis level? No but the biggest problem we have is defense. We don’t have the players to revert back to a defensive mindset. Our best defender got relegated in the Prem this year. Tsimakas sometimes plays for Roma, koulorakis may become something but still. We don’t have Socrates, Manolas, torosidis back there. For the first time in our nations history we have attacking creative players. We need a coach that can emphasize that. When you put a kourbelis, bouckalakis, Masouras, Mantalos on the field they make the rest of the creative players around them worse and stifle them. We need to clean house player wise and get a creative coach.1 point

Our pre-season training will once again take place in the land of Dutch Eagle. Apparently we will use the same facilities we did last summer. The dates mentioned are June 19 - July 13, 2026, which means the team will return to Thessaloniki approximately 10 days before our first Europa league match.1 point

All the goodwill he had from the uefa qualifiers and the nations league is gone. We are going backwards. Anyone that has seen our last few games could tell.1 point

Watching this game reminds me of all those games were we would just pass it back to the goalie all game and pray for an over the top pass from the GK or a corner to win…1 point

So I'm seeing stuff today (on instagram) claiming that Vieirinha is the new TD, but also that Leo Matos (!) is the new TD, but also that it's actually Vieirinha but Leo Matos is doing something with Brazil. Who knows where this will end up (and what will happen with Karypidis). Or if it truly matters.1 point

There are more players. I remember Prijovic playing for Serbia at the 2018 WC while being a PAOK-player. Glykos was subbed in at the 2014 WC when the first keeper (don't know his name) was injured. He was at PAOK at that time. Swiderski played in the 2022 WC just after he left us for the States. Your friend Christodoulopoulos was for sure. I have to dig in my brain. And maybe the internet. There must be more players. I remember the squad lists in "Voetbal International" mentioning PAOK as the current club. Not only in the Greek National team.1 point

The next season Superleague will continue to have 14 teams. There was a vote to expend it to 16 teams and eliminate the playoffs, but the vote failed. The two new teams in Superleague will be Kalamata and the fake Iraklis (PO Triglia Iraklis).1 point

Koulierakis was relegated to the 2. Bundesliga yesterday. VfL Wolfsburg lost 2-1 on aggregate against SC Paderborn 07. After the 0-0 in Wolfsburg the teams met in Paderborn and Wolfsburg took an very early lead but at 14' a player received his second yellow and the opponent took advantage of it. Could be the last game for Koulierakis in Wolfsburg. Tzolis was crowned Belgian champion with Club Brugge. He had a great season with 17 goals and 23 assists in the League.1 point

AEK won the Greek championship and OFI won the Greek Cup That means AEK will be in the Champions League playoffs while OFI will be in the Europa League playoffs. The second place team which PAOK and Olympiakos are fighting for, are going the second qualifying round of the Champions League, third place will be the Europa League second qualifying round. Panathinaikos finished 4th place and will play the second qualifying round of the Conference League. Here is the interest part: In the group where OFI, Levediakos, Aris, and Volos are playing, the winner of that group also go to the Conference League?1 point

The 17th Panagiotis Katsouris tournament took place in Thessaloniki recently. This year's tournament featured teams academies from Greece and Europe, including Benfica, Porto, Feyenoord, Eintracht, Malmo, Bochum, Partizan, Twente, Ludogorets, Banik Ostrava and Union Saint-Gilloise. The tournament featured 20 teams in the K15 (U15) category (4 groups of 5 teams) and 24 teams in the K13 (U13) category (4 groups of 6 teams). Teams finishing in 1st and 2nd places continued in the Gold Path and teams finishing in 3rd, 4th and 5th places continued in the Silver Path. The Gold K15 winner was PAOK beating Feyenoord 1:0 in the final game. Third place went to Oxford that beat the Rangers on penalty kicks. The Gold K13 winner was Benfica defeating PAOK in the final on penalty kicks. Third place went to Eintrach beating Porto 2:1 The Silver K15 winner was Twente beating Viborg 2:1. Really? Up until Feburary, we were absolutely playing the best and most attractive football in the league. Then injuries took hold and we have fallen apart since. Strongly disagree with that point as I do with saying the league was "down" in 2024. Olympiacos won a European title that season. We only just pipped AEK to win the title. Saying it was down is simply untrue and inidcates you either drink too much (likely) or are just desperate to justify your point (less likely but still plausible.) Not wanting Lucescu is fair enough, it is okay to not like him for whatever reason, but claiming we played ugly football all season is not true. We were lauded across the league for playing attractive football, we scored brilliant goals, were top of the table and were drawing comparisons to the great team of the 70's. Let me finish by saying, I don't think Lucescu should be guaranteed to coach next season. There clearly needs to be a review and assessment conducted. The jungle drums are rumbling and pressure mounting more than ever from fans and media alike. There comes a point when it is better to just shake hands and move on.1 point

The result was good in Hungary considering the lineup and missing our top players. Greece three matches now without a goal that is concerning.. Jovanovich needs to start our young promising players we cant keep stating this enough. Kourbelis should not be on this team PERIOD! Bakesetas cant be starting!!1 point
