Torosidis played at left back for the Ethniki since he debuted in 2007, long before he ever moved to Roma. He was 22 so I'm not sure your experience argument holds up. Toro was only moved to his natural right back once Rehhagel left and Santos took over post 2010 World Cup. We don't know if Tsimikas would fail or not at right back, there are challenges with playing on your opposite side as you have correctly pointed out. If JVS is going to insist on Mavrias as the no.2 right back and not consider other options, 10/10 times I would rather see Tsimikas playing on his weak side.

I would welcome Ninis and Fetfat iin the midfield with masouras and limnios

I don’t like bakakis too much but I feel like he had a solid game before coming off. that kid on the left wing for Georgia Is extremely talented. This is what we expected from Limnios, who has basically vanished in the last few games 😞

I would have taken Bakasetas off and moved Fortounis in the middle and brought on Masouras.

Our two best backs should be playing at all times regardless if one is out of position it’s a waste to keep one on the bench we’re not a Germany or Brazil to have such great talent sitting and not playing. As for fw I guess pavlidis got the start bcs of his two goals against Honduras but giakoumakis too me is the best fw we have had since mitroglou as is perfect for this formation.
