I'm honestly shocked. What a historic performance from the NT and especially considering George news so recent. I felt we were capable of this performances now but awesome to actually see it. What heart and character we have to get this win. I thought to myself typical English squeak out the draw we should be up at least 1 goal, as they had chances as well. But they pulled it off and delivered the deserved full points. Pavlidis gets the call and delivers the performance. We are busting with attacking options and depth and Ivan has them on a mission looks like for this performance at Wembley. Will do wonders for our ranking and our World Cup chances!!

Amazing win for George! The players played with such heart. Greece dominated the midfield and the score should have been 4 or 5-1. I said if only Pavlidis could score for the NT in big games well he was incredible today. Ivanovich is a great manager and is the right fit for Greece. I see us taking 1st in this group & I could see Greece taking a direct ticket in World Cup qualifying if we do not draw in with Spain or Portugal.

What happened there lol. That’s what I thought too. Maybe Koulierakis was aiming to kick it out who knows. Was surprised the referee didn’t call a penalty. All in all so happy for this victory. Pavlidis best game ever for Greece. As a team we looked solid and everyone helped each other. Can’t ask for more after this win they all played for each other and Jovanovic is proving to be a great coach for us. This was for George Baldock🙏

That was one of Greece's best attacking performances in quite a long time. We showed true grit to keep playing despite all the setbacks of disallowed goals, goal that looked to have crossed the line, dodgy decisions and biased refereeing. Glad the players were able to do it for Baldock and the nation.
