For the next game my ideal squad would be Kapino/Karnezis Torosidis Sokratis Manolas Stafylidis Maniatis Siopis/Zeca Gianniotas Fortounis Mantalos Mitroglou Glykos, Tziolis, Vellios, Mpakasetas, Oikonomou, Manthatis are locks more or less. I'd like to see Kitsiou getting a call up in the absence of Tzavellas, Siovas because he's playing great in Leganes, Kone and Retsos as we have limited options in the midfield and perhaps Lazaros as a winger.

All these years we had these stupid play offs where 1st did not participate. The play offs help whoever is in 1st position as when there is a 6+ point gap, the teams in second and below do not bother chasing 1st because they know they need to save energy for the play offs! This is why the play offs do nothing other than help the team in 1st position. Remember a few years back when AEK chased Olympiacos all the way till the end then missed out and failed miserably in the play offs? Now that Olympiacos is crumbling and probably couldn't beat Finikas Peristeriou with 50/50 refereeing, they have changed it so that when another team inevitably takes top spot Olympiacos will still have a chance of winning the league. What an absolute f*&^ing joke. This is going to be my last season watching Greek league. From now on I will watch only European games and (depending on the layout) maybe the cup. I cannot believe the teams who wanted to clean Greek football voted into this. The play offs are a joke and so is everything else about Greek football. F***heads.

If I was Ivic, I would do some serious rotation in the next two games. Specially on Sunday against Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos is a sneaky team, and since they will come to Thessaloniki without their top players, I am afraid that they will provoke our players to get red-carded, and play hard to cause injuries to our players ahead of the cup games.

Warda's dad apparently isn't impressed with his son either. Maybe he should get a haircut, as punishment. Damn hippies.

Keep your eyes open for a young Greek javelin thrower name Ioannis Kyriazis. He's a Texas A & M student and threw a personal best 88.01 m at Texas Relays in Austin, Texas. He moved to 9th place all-time for under 23 European athletes, ahead of Jan Zelezny and Andreas Thorkildsen. Watch him this July in Bydgoszcz, Poland for the Under 23 European Championship.

Benfica took on Porto in a top of the table clash. Game ended 1-1, with Jonas winning and converting a penalty for Benfica. Mitro played the whole 90 as did Samaris. The result keeps Benfica a point clear of Porto at the top of the table, with 7 games remaining. Looks like the title race is gonna go down to the wire.
