  1. As I feared, PAO was nonexistent offensively. They need to get some changes in there. Pranjic needs to come out and maybe push Zeca into the midfield and bring in Kaltsas. As for the goal, the ball appeared to take a funny bounce and it jumped on Steele and he misjudged it and did a bad job of blocking it. It was a bad goal to give up but Steele has bailed out this team so many times and the rest of the team right now is leaving him out to dry.

  2. Anyone watch the LC-AV game? The last 20 mins of that game were just awesome to watch. Great pace and action (and goals!).

  5. This PAO team can't keep any attacking passing momentum. Players need to be more assertive on the ball and take matters into their own hands. They just pass off responsibilities to others. Playing it too safe

  7. Here's a link: http://www.paomazisou.gr/2014/11/91-agones-xoris-penalty.html Yes, the site seems biased but the stats they present are facts. Because none of the "neutral" (sport24, contra...) sites care to report this...

  9. More like chori 1 goal and 1 pare-vale. It's laughable how much you hype fortounis.

  11. Spain can be beaten Tired of some Greek fans who think their team isn't good enough to take down these type of teams. It's true France and Serbia are the top 2 teams in Europe.

  12. Aris is run as an amateur side by the Erasitexni Aris. They just awarded the management of the soccer team to Karypidis a self proclaimed Olympiakos supporter, which basically means that Aris is on its way to becoming another farm team, which also explains the influx of old Olympiakos based players and coaching staff. There is a civil war going on within Aris with all kinds of weird decisions by the erasitexni board. Last weekend they voted and awarded the management to Nikos Arvanitidis, the son of the previous Veroia owner, only to kick him out and replace him with Karypidis. Prior to that they voted to kick out Alex Kalas, who has been funding the team most of the last season. If and when Aris makes it to Football League, Karypidis will have to make a decision about his ownership of Veroia, that's why he is supposedly negotiating with some Chinese management company to take over Veroia, so he can legally own Aris, when they become a professional team in Football League. That's unless the board does not vote him out during the course of the season. Never a dull moment in the ongoing saga of Aris Thessaloniki.

  13. Was great to being there, I chose my seat early which would end up being in the centre of where G4 would assemble, had lots of fun chanting, was great to see the win and some goals! While it was a good atmosphere I think next game I'll be sitting somewhere I can get a proper view of the game, hard to see past the smoke from the flares at times, and the hools would rather you just make noise then react to what's happening in the game. However I'm happy I did it, was an experience.

  15. Apparently Dellas wanted him Akritis but when you look at what we have spent this season ($160k) you cant see them spending $1.5 mill on Berba, personally I think if we did get him we would've been hot favourites to contest the title as he was the last piece in our puzzle......

  16. If we don't win... its not bc of pappas and voodoo Its bc of piss poor planning during preseason to overwork your players and pick up a bunch of tourists and butchers along the way that have made no significant impact thus far We have only ourselves to blame if we cant beat a bunch of kids

  17. Our first game back in the topflight after being down for 2 seasons, ofcourse we will celebrate. Aravidis deserves a crack at the NT. He will prove it in the coming games.
