pash Posted May 11 Posted May 11 The streams were staying up to show it, but I moved over to the PAOK one just in case. Here's a link if any of you haven't seen it yet: 1
Soprano76 Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Another season in the books. Certainly not a disaster, but definitely a step back from the title-winning season last year. The team did not capitalize on its momentum and unfortunately the striker signings were a bust.
pash Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I am just now realizing that AEK has not won a "league" match since Feb 23. Incredible. They had a win in their second leg vs Olympiakos (where it proved impossible to overturn the first leg), but every other match since Asteras Tripolis was a loss. Doesn't this make it even more pathetic that we only barely managed to end the season ahead of them? If we had beaten Kallithea in the last match day, we would have ended this season in second place. Ugh.
Dutch Eagle Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Lucescu's childish behaviour in the parking area of the Agia Sophia stadium and hence his absence on the pitch costed us. Castorina is a good guy but he can not gear the team up like Lucesu can just by being there. We lost a lot of valuable points in these days.
Blackhawk Posted May 13 Author Posted May 13 Don't really think Lucescu's absence is what cost us 2nd place. Two ties in home games with OFI and Kallithea would have been enough for 2nd place. Instead we lost both games. The other issue was not winning any derbies in the regular season. 1
pash Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Just in case we were starting to feel TOO GOOD about how we beat AEK: https://inpaok.com/863639/apistefto-i-deav-timorise-tin-touba/
