Dutch Eagle Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 PAOK received € 320,229.00 from FIFA for the time Andrija Zivkovic was away to Qatar for the 2022 World Cup with the national team of Serbia.
Dutch Eagle Posted August 13, 2023 Author Posted August 13, 2023 PAOK ranked #117 according to IFFHS: https://www.metrosport.gr/iffhs-mikri-anodos-toy-paok-sti-lista-ton-koryfaion-omadon-toy-kosmoy-821140

pash Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 Question for consideration: is Michailidis, "back" ? I know there was some doubt with his first games back from injury at the beginning of the season. Seems to be trending upwards, and hopefully will get more playing time if Nasberg gets the boot... But one can never tell, returning from a big injury. May become very relevant if Koulierakis gets sold, as well.
paokarag4 Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 He has definitely overtaken Nasberg as the back-up to Koulierakis as the left-sided center back. It seems Lucescu doesn't want to overload Koulierakis and he rotates him quite regularly, so Michalidis will continue to get a good amount of game-time in the 2nd half of the season. 2
Nea Bafra Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 You will always be struggling first year after a full knee reco. It takes time to build back the muscle mass let alone the confidence in the leg. That he is improving is a good sign. Hopefully he stays on the same path. 2
pash Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Thought I'd share this one: https://inpaok.com/802825/oi-daneikoi-sto-mikroskopio/ Two notable takeaways: Tsaousis - who you may recall looked pretty solid during those few games he played for us - has apparently been doing well on loan at PAS Giannina (though that doesn't seem to be enough to stop them from getting relegated at the end of this season) Ouadrago is on loan to Panserraikos, which I did not realize was the case
pash Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Saw a blurb on the fan violence-related bill passing, but it was very sparse on the details (a phone-based app and more cameras). Does anyone know more about what passed, and if any of it will actually work to make the country take a step towards being a first world nation?
Blackhawk Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Sure, more cameras, but the ones we had in the past never worked/or were turned off when violence took place. The other measure is that fan clubs are being banned by the government and each team will only be allowed one fan club that is tied officially to the team. In any case, nothing will fix the mess created by the most corrupt system in the country in every aspect of life.
Dutch Eagle Posted February 6, 2024 Author Posted February 6, 2024 Did some research as I saw we had already scored 98 goals this season. Minimum in top 5 of best attacking power ever. Our top 3 seasons so far: 1. 2000/01 126 goals (including 17 cupmatches as they started with a group of 6 home and away against the likes of Ambelokipi and Nafpaktiakos Asteras); 2. 2013/14 109 goals; 3. 2018/19 104 (double). Shocking: 1985/86 only 36 goals !!!! This was the year after our second championship! For the record: 19 matches remaining (5 SL + 10 playoffs SL + 2 cup + 2 ECL) for sure. Might be +1 in the cup and +5 in ECL. 29 goals needed to break the record. Pame PAOK. 1
italosPAOK4 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 so many goals in so many matches as this year i have never seen with PAOK before
