Antaeus7
Some of the reports from forums are suggesting that Kyriaki Filtisakou is the one who was caught for illegal substance. Wikipedia took her name off from the Athletics section.
Blackhawk
Well she was dropped from the Olympic team and did not travel to Paris. She claims she is innocent (they always do). She'll probably get 4 year ban. I don't see her racing again.

Antaeus7
Apostolos Christou finally got his first Olympic medal and it's silver at the men's 200m backstroke!!! Oh, I just wished he could have gotten another medal from the 100m. Tomorrow, we have three pair rowers competing for the medals and it is possible Greece can achieve them.
Blackhawk
Tsitsipas once again showing that he has a loser mentality. He was leading Djokovic 4:0 in second set and up 40:0 and managed to lose the set and the match 3:6, 6:7. Same goes for the other loser Sakkari, who had her path opened to a medal by some of the favorites being eliminated, only to lose to low rate Kostyuk from Ukraine.
Antaeus7
Mark my words, both Greek tennis players will NEVER win a Grand Slam title, let alone an Olympic medal.
Antaeus7
Antigoni Drisbioti may not have medaled and finished 22nd place, but she is still holding her head high. She announced this was her last Olympic Games ever to compete. She will forever be a legend in Greek race walking. ❤️
paokarag4
Last chance saloon for the Men's basketball team tonight against a strong Australia team. The Ethniki must win to have any hope of qualifying to the quarter finals. Apart from Gianni and Toliopoulos (in the 2nd half against Spain), we have struggled to score. A win by 10+ (however unlikely) coupled with a Canadian win over Spain would guarantee we qualify in 2nd. Otherwise we have to win by at least 3 points, and wait to see if we qualify as one of the best placed 3rd placed teams. Going to be a tough game, not sure if we win but I have a feeling we will push them and go close at the very least.

Antaeus7
Panagiota Dosi and Michail Anastasakis both didn't perform very good, they are out. Polyniki Emmanouilidou did not make the cut in the women's 100m heat, finishing 26th place at 11.25. I knew a personal best of 11.20 or better would have sealed qualification for the semi-finals.
