A game with two very poor sides that only got better from the 60th minute onwards. Our midfield was once again AWOL, there is no discipline whatsoever. Varela and Ingason are both liabilities when it comes to keeping the ball. They only time I have confidence in them is to win aerial balls. I think Krmencik has to start over Karol from now on. He is stronger and a more clinical striker. Karol desperately needs to hit the gym.

Diamantopoulos had one decision to make in his 20-minute cameo and he was inept of making the right one. A clear throw in for PAOK in AEK's third of the field while we were pressing and he gave in to pressure from AEK players. It just shows how incompetent Greek referees are.
