Blackhawk Posted November 6, 2020 Author Posted November 6, 2020 Superleague changed the kickoff time to 19:30 EET. It was scheduled for 17:15 EET.
Dutch Eagle Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Varela is awarded a rest. Giannoulis is injured but still no Adrian Nielsen Pereira. The squad that will travel to Athens: Πασχαλάκης , Ζίβκοβιτς , Ουαγκέ , Ροντρίγκο , Λύρατζης , Κρέσπο , Ίνγκασον , Μιχαηλίδης , Εσίτι , Τσιγγάρας , Ντόουγκλας , Νινούα , Ελ Καντουρί , Σβαμπ , Μπίσεσβαρ , Μουργκ , Α.Ζίβκοβιτς , Τζόλης , Σφιντέρσκι , Τσόλακ .
pash Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 This is exactly the kind of game that I'd expect Michailidis to get subbed into. My guess is that Garcia will proceed more cautiously with the youth than Ferreira seemed to. If he consistently subs them in like he did vs PSV, I'll be happy. Funny how some coaches never try the youth, then Ferreira ends up going completely the other way. Michailidis seemed (to me) to get shakier as he went, which implies he may have been in over his head.
paokarag4 Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 (edited) A bit strange IMO that Perreira is being left out with the Giannoulis injury. Is he really that bad? He's played once against Volos where yes he wasn't great but there was heavy rotation that game, there were like 5-6 players making their debut. Not exactly ideal conditions for someone playing their match. Interested to see what we do at left back, whether it's Lyratzis/Rodrigo on their opposite side or potentially one of the CB's getting plugged in there. Edited November 8, 2020 by paokarag4
pash Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 I didn't even notice that. You're right. Man, I'd definitely be playing the kid. Lyratzis has limited experience on the left from what I recall. A thought, though: perhaps he wants to us this to get a sense of Soares on the left, for the next PSV game?
PaokCT Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 FAKE NEWS. We just recorded another episode and shut down your idea
pash Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Well, in support of your argument, the fact that Ferreira left him out of the list for the UEFA games implies that he also didn't like what he saw. In opposition to your argument: your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries. 3
PaokCT Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Lyratzis is on the left side... time for baby Elvis to shine
pash Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Full lineup https://twitter.com/PAOK_FC/status/1325475822048858117?s=19
pash Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Uhhh why am I hearing so much chanting in the mao mao stream? I THOUGHT THERE WAS A LOCKDOWN!
pash Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Penalty given due to a shove against Zivkovic. That coulda been a goal IMO
pash Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 VAR room is clearly looking at whether or not there was an offside before the PK, uh oh
Dutch Eagle Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 But they do not show it in a replay. I'm not convinced.
Dutch Eagle Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Now a call for off side but not all according to the replay they did show this time.
Dutch Eagle Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Replay of the not given penalty now shown: off side for 0,000000003 millimeters
pash Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Yeah rough. Half time now - I'd say Lyratzis was quite a bit better on the left than I would have thought.
Blackhawk Posted November 8, 2020 Author Posted November 8, 2020 0:1 halftime As long as we don't score that 2nd goal we run the risk of a disappointment.
