Noticed that while Lamprou was ostensibly playing LW, he spent much of his time in the center. This opened up a big hole on that side that Giannoulis was not able to cover. Was he instructed to play like that, or was he ignoring his position? Hmm...

How did Soares look ?  He's had little game time and has always had that feeling of being a rushed transfer.

He was okay, the games tempo had completely dropped when he came on but he defended well on a few occasions and obviously provided the assist for Misic's goal. But hard to gauge him on 30 mins in a game where we were 4-1 one up when he came on.

I like Soares. Last year he played for a team that almost got relegated. They scored only 35 goals in 34 games and Soares scored 4 of them and gave 5 assists. Pretty impressive statistics. The "bad" thing is he has to fill Matos' shoes. Really tough job. I would say equally hard as Giannoulis replacing Vieirinha. Giannoulis managed to do it. Who knows if Soares will do so.
