Bananas Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 (edited) Yiankos, any team with a weakness is exposed, and rightfully so. In our case our midfield is poor. The defense also but right now the midfield is the bigger problem. The quality is there on paper, but on paper only. Canas, Cimirot, Shakhov, El Khaddouri, Mauricio, Biseswar all not performing to their full ability. Whether it's poor form, poor fitness, whatever, doesn't matter. The fact is there is no midfield at the moment and until these players are fit and in form, we will continue to struggle. Nevertheless, I think we all still expect a win in Toumba. After all, in Toumba we are lions. In Athens, we are kittens. Edited September 13, 2017 by Bananas
Blackhawk Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 We have a chance to string a series of wins until we face Olympiakos in Round 8. We play Panaitolikos (home), Giannina (home), Larisa (away) and Lamia (home). Let's hope they grab this chance and win those game. It won't be easy because right now the team is basically doing a "2nd pre-season training" in the middle of the season. Hopefully we will have some luck on our side (like the posts we hit deflect in instead of out) and win those four games. Add also the two cup games before we face Olympiakos and the team should be ready and fit to face the big rival.
Dutch Eagle Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 We will miss the homecrowd, our twelfth man, though. But normally yes, we should win those matches.
BostonThanatos Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I'd like to see Deligiannidis in ther for Leovac....Leovac has proven to be nothing but a liability. Leveque should brought out to the back of the stadium and put out of his misery. 1
Blackhawk Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 Well it's reported that Leovac is hurt, so he might have to play. That might be good news going into this game.
Blackhawk Posted September 14, 2017 Author Posted September 14, 2017 Still only €1.99 introductory price on PAOK TV. I think it will remain at this price until our first game with fans against Panathinaikos. I expect €3.99 or €4.99 for that game.

BostonThanatos Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Was the last game available through PAOK TV PPV?

Leveque won't be worried though since he's already planning on being injured for the remainder of his contract.

Blackhawk Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 Squad for tomorrow's game: Ρέι, Πασχαλάκης, Λέοβατς, Μάτος, Ζαμπράνο, Κρέσπο, Βαρέλα, Μαουρίτσιο, Τσίμιροτ, Κάτσε, Πέλκας, Μπίσεσβαρ, Βιεϊρίνια, Κάμπος, Ελ Καντουρί, Μακ, Πρίγιοβιτς, Κουλούρης, Λημνιός Vierinha and Zambrano are in the squad. Konstantinidis, Deligiannidis, Shakhov and Canas are not.
Blackhawk Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 Reports are that Lucescu will once again use Pelkas along with either Cimirot or Kace as defensive mid. I guess he did not learn his lesson from Monday's game. My lineup for the game: ------------------------ Rey -------------------- Matos - Varela - Crespo - Leovac ------- Cimirot -----------Mauricio ----- Campos ---- El Kaddouri ---- Mak ------------------- Prijovic ------------------ Zambrano, Biseswar and Vierinha to come in as subs.
TheogGR1 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Lineup for today ------------------------ Rey -------------------- Matos - Varela - Crespo - Leovac ------- Cimirot -----------Kace ----- Campos ---- El Kaddouri ---- Mak ------------------- Prijovic ------------------
pash Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Fingers crossed. Xanthi is ten minutes out from a loss to levadiakos, btw. I don't think they've lost yet.
Blackhawk Posted September 16, 2017 Author Posted September 16, 2017 Once again we are facing a parked bus and we don't have any answers to break it.
BostonThanatos Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 We look very lazy and sloppy so far.
Blackhawk Posted September 16, 2017 Author Posted September 16, 2017 We are not winning this game if we continue to play like this.
BostonThanatos Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 I don't like how Varela and Crespo interact with Rey and vice versa....they are setting themselves up for disaster.
BostonThanatos Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Vieirinha, Koulouri and Pelkas warming up....
pash Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Pair of big chances just now. Vieirinha about to come on.
