Dutch Eagle Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 With our current (negative) state of mind a would be happy with a draw.
pash Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Are we that negative? From what I gathered, if our finishing was 1% better, we would have scored a half dozen on Sunday. Let's hope it is on the 11th.
pash Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Here are the 19 players that were chosen. Kace makes his return, Brkic, Campos and Matos are not in the team. This is the team I want to see play. Shakhov hasn't been getting much time and is probably genetically predisposed to frolicking in the snow...and I feel one of Canas or Cimirot should be rested. Pereyra is the only striker we have who knows how to get goals, and is the obvious choice. --Glykos-- --Kitsiou--Varela--Crespo--Leovac-- --Cimirot--Shakhov-- --Mistakidis--Biseswar--Pelkas-- --Pereyra--
Blackhawk Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 I think Malezas will get a start. Also I don't think Pereyra will start. Koulouris will in my opinion.
Blackhawk Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 Not sure if we can do it, but it would be nice to get a nice 2:0 win and then take it easy in the return leg and rest some players, since we are playing games every 4 days.
italosPAOK4 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 it will be good for us to take the win and almost secure our qualification to the next round of the Greek Cup
Blackhawk Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 If the game takes place, the PAOK lineup will be: ------------- Glykos -------------- -- Crespo - Malezas - Varela -- Kitsiou ------------------ Leovac Cimirot ---- Sakhov ---- Pelkas --- Mystakidis ---- Koulouris --
pash Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Here's their pretty screenshot. I'm fine with this lineup. And finally, Mistakidis playing in the center.
pash Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Maybe while saying "this is a very impressingk formation" Stream hasn't started yet on laola, at least for me
Blackhawk Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 We started the game just where we ended it with Giannina. Koulouris all by himself in front of the goalie and could not score.
paokarag4 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Kolouri broke one on one, tried to round the keeper and failed. the pitch looks unplayable, very dangerous for all the players with the ball sticking at certain points due to there being so much water. didnt we have a game with them last season where the pitch was extremely heavy as well?
Blackhawk Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 I think Koulouris tried more to get a penalty than trying to score.
pash Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Pelkas manages to nutmeg one guy, then immediately crash into another, losing possession. Story of his career. 5 minutes ago, paokarag4 said: didnt we have a game with them last season where the pitch was extremely heavy as well? I believe it was Ivic's first-ever match as coach, wasn't it?
pash Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Near goal by Panaitolikos off of a setpiece, after Kitsiou lays out one of their players.

pash Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Horrible first half. Had a few chances after the 40 minute mark, but all around garbage.
Blackhawk Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 We had something like 7 or 8 corner kicks, and not a single one executed right. The ball either went straight to the keeper or never reached the box. Put in Pereyra just to kick corners. This game will be decided by a lucky bounce, if at all. I would bet on scoreless tie right now.

Seriously, it's almost a sin at this level to not have a player capable of taking good corners. Stupefying.
