Blackhawk Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 vs MATCHUP: P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki ? Spartak Trnava COMPETITION: Europa League ? Qualifying Round 3 ? Leg 1 DATE: 30-July-2015 TIME: 20:00 GR (17:00 GMT, 12:00 CDT, 03:00 AEST next day) CITY/STADIUM: Thessaloniki ? Toumba Stadium (28,703) REFEREES: Svein-Erik Edvartsen - Jan Erik Engen, Magnus Lundberg (All from Norway) TELEVISION: Nova Sport (Greece), RTVS (Slovakia), Laola1.TV (web stream HISTORY: 1997-1998 UEFA Cup QR1-Leg 1: PAOK - Spartak Trnava 5:3 (Maragos 2, Zagorakis (p), Frantzeskos, Olivares) - ATTD: 26,492 QR1-Leg 2: Spartak Trnava - PAOK 0:1 (Zagorakis) - ATTD: 9,000 Spartak Trnava is our next opponent in Europa League. If we qualify we enter the Ply-off round of the competition. Trnava is not the teama that it used to be in the past and on paper we should not have any problems with them. Historically we played them in 1997, when we were losing to them at Toumba 3:0 by 30th minute. Then we came back and defeated them 5:3. In the next round we played Arsenal.
Dutch Eagle Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Referee will be Norvegian Svein-Erik Edvartsen. Could not find statistics about him (to check if he is a home referee or famous for showing cards), but saw he is of Pakistani ancestry and CEO of a (ice) hockeyclub, Lorenskog for our hockeylovers amongst us.
italosPAOK4 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 pame gia th nikh kai me kapoia goal diafora ! ANTE PAOKARAAAAAAAAAA ! :)
pash Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Novasport implies no streams, right? Any chance a Slovakian station will broadcast?
Blackhawk Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Laola1.TV will stream the game. It's available everywhere, including US. Quality is excellent as it is a legal stream. Slovakian TV is also showing the game, so there will other streams available. 1
pash Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Laola's stream are definitely good. Very happy to hear they'll be carrying the game. Hopefully we don't revert back to Salpi. If he doesn't rate Koulouris, then Mistakidis has shown his worth in both games. We've already shown that we don't need a true CF in order to win, after all.
pash Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Lineup just announced, exact same as before (with Koulouris).
Ethnikos Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Solid lineup, any updates on Lucas? Last time I checked he didn't want to play in Greece and we were close to selling him to Coruna
pash Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I believe Blackhawk said a while back that the deal was we'd keep him until we qualified to the group stage, then sell him to them.
Bajewy Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 yep. he was the last defender and took out the striker who had an almost guaranteed goal.
Dutch Eagle Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 We make too much personal mistakes. Could kill us. As a team we are better. More possession.
Rockafeller Skank Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Not even a yellow card at the Trnava player ? This ref has been paid.
Rockafeller Skank Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) WTF is going on I cant understand sorry, this match was boring so far (coz paok was with 10 so the passive play was obvious) and the Slovak team is terrible, not to mention that the whole game is foul... foul ... foul (till now). Edited July 30, 2015 by Rockafeller Skank
Dutch Eagle Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Two yellow cards for spartak so dat. 18 fouls spartak. Paok only 4.
pash Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Yeah, we definitely can win this. At this rate, they're likely to join us at ten men.
